There's a growing opinion that it's not actually a Rapala, which wouldn't make his primary sponsor very happy. Pictures from Bassmaster appear to be an OSP Blitz Crankbait possibly in Ghost Minnow. It could just be a custom or yet to be released new Rapala color, doubtful. What's shown in the Top Lures recap is likely not accurate, in my opinion.

Only time they can’t is while sight fishing, they have to be hooked in the mouth. Only other exception I know of is in California no matter what time of the year they have to be in the mouth.
Not in Michigan or Ontario. Law says hook must be in mouth. Not near it, in it. Read the regs.

Steve I was about 1/2 mile away and I think you can see my boat in the distance once or twice.. The regs are the regs, but most people will say close enough. And the only time I’ve seen the dnr enforce it is during the spring walleye run.

Only thing I disagree with is when he said "look at him acting like he knew"....well that spot is no secret. I fish that spot every fall from late Oct to Nov and I know of 10 other guys that do too both American and Canadian. So a bit cocky sounding to just assume imo. But that being said either way I don't even get on the water when Elites or FLW are in town.
He gets paid to catch fish so if anyone’s allowed to be cocky it’s him.
