Christian Metal bands are the most badass bands out there... that's because they're bands that face rebuke on all sides, both christian and secular, yet they continue to do their thing out of faith! Really tough dudes if you'd ask me!

My pastor is friends with the drummer and got me a pair of his drumsticks at cornerstone fest... I was so stoked. Their cornerstone show was amazing, it was like pitch black with a few red lights and practically everyone was moshing... it was soo heavy

While I don't agree with the lyrical content, you're correct; Metal is a genre of music. Music, by definition, is based on sound. If the sound happens to be fast and aggressive, it is Metal; regardless of what the lyrics may be about. Metal can be about God just as easily as it can be about Satan or Love or anger or literally any other topic that the artist wishes to address.

When I was 16 years old I saw these guys at warped tour. I ended up getting caught in the mosh pit to THIS song in particular. I remember it so vividly because it was the first time I ever got into the pit for anything, and because a big fat guy did like a spin kick that hit me dead center on the face. Great memories.

People love to misinterpret metal lyrics. You won't just find it on this video, but you'll also find it on other Impending Doom videos and other metal videos, in general, where the screamer doesn't enunciate very well. I'm not saying I'm for or against this; I'm just saying it's something you're gonna have to get used to, because complaining about it isn't going to stop it.
