@@HeldinWrites I'm definitely officially down the Leonardo rabbit hole! I already got the Copper Revival grande and I'm completely obsessed. I'm fighting getting the mother of pearl, cuspide, and bohemian twilight!
This pen is gorgeous and I’m going to look it up as soon as I leave here. Love the rose gold with that blue. There are no pen stores in my general area, but there is a local online seller who sets up once a month in the mall. This is a great thing - but I can say for sure, it is much harder to be disciplined when you see the pens in person. The last time I went, intending to buy one pen, I bought three.
Just bought the same one! It's beautiful & I've had my eye on it for a while so I finally pulled the trigger on it. And NOW I'm officially on Pen-Buying hiatus too! 🤦🏻♀️
Yes. The convertor can be removed. Unfortunately there are some Leonardo's that do have minor nib issues. Yes you may need a bit of nib work. I have an ebonite limited edition from Pen Chalet in USA. I post it all the time... No finish issues as a result. Enjoy!
Great review, thanks. I’m in a similar, Leonardo obsessed position. I recently acquired the MZ Mango, and now I’m selling four other pens to fund a Blue Hawaii and an Alga (Seaweed Green). I do love me some Italian spaghetti (resin). 🍝
Just inked the Momemto Zero this morning....Blue Hawaii, gold trim. Washed out the feed and nib. ( nib was permanently ink stained) Inked with Diamine Golden Brown...Goes nicely with the 'sand' colors . Also ordered the medium. I did check the nib under the loop and all looked to be in alignment. Wrote a half page, smooth but a smidge of drag. I'll have to order some Cross Violet, since Cross Blue Black is one of my favorites. It also leans more purple than blue to my eye.......You've heard of Pens & Tea? Pens & Dogs sounds good to me. 🖋🐕😀😉
Have one in the blue Hawaii as well. My converter is screw in. My nib ended up annoying me, so I got a sig nib and feed from Franklin christoph and it's now one of my favs!
I saw another leonardo pen that galen leather sell it and the convertor actually screws in so never pull it I love the Twsbi so much but I have been looking at the leonardo Do you think it's worth it as it is so much expensive than a Twsbi?
I think it's worth it, but I do understand that you would hesitate. I would not get this for the nib experience over the TWSBI, but for the finish I would.
I just ordered this today and I’m so excited! It is just such a gorgeous resin and I’m excited to see it in person.
Are you enjoying it???

I think it has a screw-in converter.

Oooh that's a good idea!
Have heard great things about this pen. I think for your kind of writing requirements, this will suit a lot.
LOVE IT!
yes it´s an screw in converter.
I figured that out last week. I was finally brave enough to check
I saw another leonardo pen that galen leather sell it and the convertor actually screws in so never pull it
I love the Twsbi so much but I have been looking at the leonardo

Are you in the states now?
Not yet, 2,5 weeks!
