There were a few barracks in Bielefeld back in the day. It was home to 1 British corps, there was a large workshops where our tanks went for major repairs and upgrades
Really enjoyed watching you two.Good humor and good vieuws.Two down to earth blokes having a great time .When I was 16 1965 I went on my little moped a Puch all the way through Holland.I put a hole in the exhaust and got an extra 20 mile speed out of it.I didn't like restrictions.I really should have gone for a Motor bike licence in the UK.Never mind it is all in the past now.
The park has been split into several smaller named parts, "Rochdale" was only a small part of it. Bielefeld is a much bigger place than i thought it would be. I didn't know about the barracks though, was they located close to the park?

Much bigger town than i expected.
The British Army barracks in Bielefeld was Rochdale Barracks.
