I have started to begin to like your tale. In the beginning it was strange to see Brits actually enjoying their motorcycle holiday. So many complain about anything. You two understand to travel properly, use time to visit places and experience things on the way. You even eat proper food! It reminds me on my first motorcycle camping trips with my girlfriend on my Suzuki GT550. We went from Denmark trough Germany, Switzerland and France to Monaco in 1979 and to Milano in 1984. Thank you for sharing.
Another Damp one, by now as you say the rain in the norm and anything else is a bonus, I'm sure we will see Sunshine before the end of the series, can't wait I'm feeling a tad damp just watching !
I cant wait to film in the sun too. All this wet is really playing havoc with the mic on the cameras, the 2nd GoPro is playing up now too. which is why there is a few sections with music instead, and i talk over 🙄 the audio is just interference. I fix it at night but as soon as it gets wet the day after it starts again.... nightmare Come on sunshine!!! 🌞
How can you have a good time? …That’s easy! Find a bar with live music, dancing girls, bratwurst, beer and jagermeister then stagger back to the tent at four in the morning! 🙂
Konstanz is the most beautiful city. Well worth a visit for next time. Waterproofing.... TeapotOne once mentioned using silicon ear plugs. I have them on mine and it does protect the connections and it's easy to remove and reuse and for a fiver for 12 you have lots of spares.
Still enjoying your videos Sheldon but always gutted to see you both having to ride through such atrocious weather. At least you both seem to laugh it off but my EX mate would moan and groan and never took the lead once. Looking forward to watching your other vids soon as well.
I know the weather wasn't the best but we still had a good time and it was a great experience. We have seen things we had only previously read about, and seen pictures of on the internet.
Fek camping! You and Jonathan both deserve the rest of your trip in gasthoffs! I honestly don't know how you have both stuck it in such bloody awful weather ☹. Fingers crossed for you both for the rest of your trip 🤞🏍.
Well i found out later that the campsite we stayed at in Pilsen, Czech is known as a nudist colony (Naturistická nuda pláž Bolevák Ostende) But as always on this trip the weather was bad, everyone was in doors... don't know if i should be glad or not lol
Believe it or not ive stayed dry everyday (apart from one when i didn't put waterproofs on!) by just wearing Oxford Rainseal pants and top over my mesh jacket. think i paid £25 each from Sportsbikeshop 4 years ago. A much cheaper option than Jonathans Klim jacket.
So I used a Klim laminated gortex jacket which was expensive, but I use it almost every day for work, and I would recommend it if you have the money. The pants are lindstrad that cost £50 of eBay and have been worth every penny! With a removable inner waterproof layer.

Blimey, that first campsite was called “Natur Camping”, I thought it was going to be a nudist colony ! Cripes, not good in the cold 😂

I need to ask with all the rain you have had, what rain gear are you guys using? thanks for the video :)
