Yeah, H is a good letter. Best one here for me is Helloween. This band causes many nostalgic feelings in me. It was one of the three first metal bands I fell in love with. I got into them in 1992 with The Best, The Rest, The Rare and this was a magical time (like was cool at the age of 14) bought their first albums afterwards. I remember how excited I was when Chameleon was released. Windmill is a great song, hahaha, But yes, I was a little bit disappointed at those times. I think I am one of the few who does not really like Kiske-vocals, so their Keeper-albums are even not in my personal Helloween-TOP-10. I prefer Deris and especially his songwriting. Time of the Oath was a fantastic one and brought them back for me. My favourite album is The Dark Ride, musically but also because it is linked with touched by god experience I made when I listened to it. So Helloween is a very important band for me. They have created so many fantastic songs.
The Mountain from Haken was my entrance album into Haken and I thought this band would be the next big thing for me. But unfortunately the following albums did not get me so they lost me a little bit. They still have some songs with brilliant refrains, I really love the voice of the singer.
Hypocrisy is another band of my youth. I remember the release of Abducted and how cool I felt when I listened to it. Roswell 47 is still one of my favourite songs. At this time they weren't that small in Germany, but not sure how it is today since I don't read metal magazines no more. I prefer their their epic, melodic songs. On every album there are at least two of them, that's cool.
And Human Fortress you guys brought into my music world. Still have to check more of their albums, but their debut is great. Thanks for that!
From your list I will ckeck Harem Scarem. I always wanted to and now I will. :D
    That's it, rock on!
PS: Thanks for showing the Nuclear Blast Thing in the end! Really cool.

Hey man! I agree Helloween is dope and one of the best power metal bands. I'm surprised you aren't a fan as much as Kiske's vocals. I do agree that Andi Deris is an awesome singer and I really like both vocalists a lot and their later material is also really strong. I think those first 2 Keepers albums will always have a special place in my heart along with Rabbit Don't Come Easy since those were the first Helloween albums I ever bought. Yeah, an acquaintance of mine recommended the new Haken album and I was really digging it! I am the same in that I also lost interest after The Mountain for them. Maybe I'll go back and see if there was anything I missed there. I hope you enjoy Harem Scarem! Those first two albums are both great. Take care Werner!
