Easily the best hooded eyelid tutorial out there. I was looking for a wearable, daytime look and I've finally found it.

I'm looking for an eye makeup tutorial for my type of eyes. My eyes are hooded but not in this way. My lash line is completely hidden by skin when I open my eyes. Therefore, doing anything like eyeliner doesn't help.

My eyes are severely hooded and I gave up wearing makeup. I really wanna do all these Korean and Chinese style makeup, but no matter what I do, they won't work on my eyes. I will maybe try again in the future, but I'm done for now.

My eyes shape is not the same size, for my left eye is bigger than my right eye, while my left eye the lid not even folded(but so many lines), and in my right eyes the lid is smaller and make my eye down. Here i am always struggle with my eye make up 😭

What if my eye lid folds over much more dramatically. And every time I do a wing it gets lose or smudges or looks like it is not connected to the corner of my eye. ??? I’m so lost on how to do eye makeup. No ones eyes seem to be as hooded as mine and most tips don’t work
I have hooded monolid eyes as well. It's hooded at the lash line and way more than the model in this video. I know the struggle! I recently started making UA-cam videos in hopes I can help others with the same eyelids as me. My channel is Gold Shoua Xiong. Let me know if this helps! 😀
I have heavily hooded eyes as well. I gave up on winged eyeliners, it’s too annoying lol. I only tightline now, and the wings are made by using dark brown eyeshadow on the hoods
What worked for me was to give up full eyeliner and just making the wing and top inner corner. The wing should be away from the fold, connected to the bottom line and very thin. And that bottom line should be really short, barely to the middle of the eye. Also it's much easier with eyeshadow + u can experiment with the colors of eyeshadows^^ Hope this helps^^ (also a bit controversial opinion but I think hooded eyes don't suit mascara on bottom lashes)
My MUA didn’t use this technique for apply my fake lashes on my graduation cewemony. i have said that i had hooded eyes like this, so just used eyelid tape or do this technique..but she didn’t care at all! So… it was almost 10 hours terrible day cause my tears kept streaming down because of those fake lashes that hurt me a lot.

my one eye has quite hooded lid but the other one is even more hooded so they're hooded AND uneven ... and its soooooo hard to do any make up :(( everything smudges or gets under my eyelids and i like bold eyeliner but no matter how bold i do my eyeliner its always smudges i'm struggling and like okay if i finally find a technique that works on hooded eyes it works but it only works on one eye i-
im not quite sure if i have hooded eyes but this video says if you have monolid and double lids then it's a yes o.o my friend told me it's hard to put makeup on me because whenever she applies makeup on me she keeps on complaining it's gone whenever i open my eyes 😂

Gina Pino that’s the point. It’s supposed to look natural like you don’t have falsies applied.
It doesn’t look very good after the makeup. Again proves how difficult it’s to handle hooded eyelids. Plastic surgery solves the problem.
You could use the rest of the space of above the lid and apply makeup there, its what I do and people complement my makeup a lot. There is a lot of room to play there too. I too have hooded lids. Also by doing that, you make your eyes look way bigger.
