    I’m really glad someone is encouraging people to sculpt with wire, it is an amazing material!

    Excellent tutorial video. I used a clothing mannequin to form my shapes, but had trouble cutting them back off. Still worked. Just more work.
    I love you in in depth steps here. One of the few wire tutorials I've seen talk about how to actually connect the pieces.
    Great looking ghost.
    I'm just finishing my dancing couple ghost wire frames and will be coating white then using a glow in the dark coating on top.
    I've seen others shade random bottom portions in black too add a tattered or invisible look to the dress and legs that helps create a floating effect. Since nine will be slowing turning, might be good.

    Very cool and easy to follow instructions, using the paper pieces to show what you were trying to do was a really clever way of doing it. I'm very tempted to make one myself...mostly to creep out my annoying neighbour hahahaha

    This is amazing..I will try this weekend. Question: if I place a spot light or black light at the foot of it, would it “be visible” at night? I would think so but wondering if you tried it.

    • @ImNotBoredImCreative
      @ImNotBoredImCreative  2 роки тому +2

      Thanks! One thing you can do is spray it with clear UV reactive paint and use a black light. It looks incredible at night. A normal spotlight could also be used if you don’t have UV paint - it’s better than nothing.

    Your ghost looked so bendable and easy and smooth . We tired making one but the wire was very difficult and not moldable . Are there different types of wires to use ? Ours didn’t go as smooth as yours did . The wire was just not pliable

    • @ImNotBoredImCreative
      @ImNotBoredImCreative  11 місяців тому

      There might be other kinds of wire. I know there are types that are squares or rectangles that use stiffer wire. This works best with the ‘standard’ (in the US) hexagon chicken wire.

    When setting these up in a yard, do you want them further away or closer to where people are walking by? Also any recommendations on how to have them lit at night?

    • @ImNotBoredImCreative
      @ImNotBoredImCreative  Рік тому +2

      Further away is better because it tricks the eye more, but they also do well closer up. You can spray them with UV reactive paint (which can be clear or white). Then a small black light makes them pop! I think they are really most effective in the day time though.

      It usually just sits there. We don’t get much wind. But I did eventually use little u shaped hooks that are used for drip irrigation to push down in a few places to secure it.

    • @ImNotBoredImCreative
      @ImNotBoredImCreative  2 роки тому +2

      Utility gloves will help, but it’s not usually your hands and fingers that get poked or scrapped. It’s your arms and legs that get small cuts from the wire springing into you. I think the best protection you can reasonably do is long sleeves and jeans, gloves and eye protection like goggles.
