attention helldiver! The automaton forces as figured out how to upgrade their facilities with planetary samples, they now are capable of orbital deployment of factory strider, hulks, and tanks. Collect these precious sample to deny them from the enemy

They should’ve left the eruptor alone but fixed the action cancel skip that allows for much faster fire. Why they left that little work around in the game and at the same time nerfed the crap out of it is beyond me.
One requires a tweak of a parameter in a spreadsheet, the other requires actual developer debugging quite tricky code. Any intern can change parameters of a gun in a minute. Cancel skip fix requires actual coding experience.
Every match is a cinematic masterpiece. Love this game.
Tip for the game, in things like in 02:09 if you insert all keys EXCEPT except the last one, and exit from enter the keys, it keeps all keys you have used. Use this tip for some strategies.

Ricochet change is bs. That is not how ricochets work. They dont auto-aim back at you. You MIGHT get hit "by chance", but ricochet angle is mainly based on angle of shot vs angle of armor. Ie. unless you shoot armor straight on, it could never ricochet back at you (unless it hits some angled edge at the right angle by chance, but again definitely not a 100% chance it will go straight back at you). But a glancing blow would never go back straight to you. Seems it even targets you if moving which is even crazier. Also they destroyed the Eruptor (and for bs reason - own/teamkills - i did fine aside from the bug, they introduced with the first nerf, that happened at times. Fix the bug instead).
Also i genuinely dont understand what reason they have for doing the ricochet like that other than making the game harder/punishing the player, which you could do in a lot better ways like buffing enemies. Also seems to run totally counter to the reason they give for nerfering the Eruptor (you could kill yourself with it too easy they said, but killing yourself with ricochet is okay?).
@@martinaasandersen3775 the ricochet nerf is weird, but it did not happened to me a lot since the change (maybe because i take care of not wasting amos on armored parts).
Wasting amos was a fine way to 'punish' players focusing armored part, the ricochet effect seems a little to pushy to me.
but since they killed the eruptor just because it was one-shoting people that weren't paying attention to focus weak parts, i hate this change even more. It was the most unique and fun weapon in the game, now it is just an unusable weapon that can't kill aything (with a really low fire rate, and a pathetic number of amos)...
Dev's said they were already looking into it, i really hope they will bring back what it was.
i always thought they were making smart changes to the game with the nerfs and ups, but this one is sooooooooo bad (because it comes from a weird interaction with a mechanic in the game, and that they chose to literrally cancel the interesting part of the weapon instead of balacing the interaction)

Use the diligence sniper while you can. It'll get the same treatment all our guns do and get nerfed into a pea shooter
8:05 okay, why? Yeah it did a lot of damage, I get that. The thing is, if ANY enemy is too close and you can't use your secondary then you're taking splash damage and getting knocked down. Even with the swap glitch to make it fire faster you still work slower than every other gun and still can't risk using it close up or too close to allies. Making it require another shot or so makes sense, making it need a shit ton is dumb. The higher difficulties already make a lot of weapon choices difficult to use, even when they dealt a lot of damage, nerfing them into the ground is stupid.
basically, the eruptor was balanced (if we forget about the animation skip), the problem was, with the new "reflect" mechanic on armored enemies, the eruptor was one shoting people from rebound on armored part.
"the euptor is one shoting people that were shooting armored part, how to deal with this issue ?" , well, lets nerf the F*** out of the gun to avoid a really unsual situation (i played a LOT with the eruptor, it didn't happened to me a single time).
i'm so sad they killed the gun just because people can't deal with an "high risk / high reward" kind of gun (also because the rebound effect didn't paired well with this specific weapon)....
