I traveled abroad for the first time in a long time.
It was a trip to Taiwan with my mother, with a local meeting and a local breakup.
It had been about 5 years since I last went abroad.
I was more nervous than excited.
We were saved many times by the kindness of Taiwanese people,
I returned home with a lot of memories and a lot of fun😊

This is probably one of my favorite videos of yours ever. Everything you do is just so...thoughtful. Even down to the fact that you care enough to actually look nice when you travel by plane, which is something that is completely lost on the typical American flyer these days. I'm glad you had a wonderful time with your mother as well - as we ourselves grow older, it's been a reminder at least for me to take time with my remaining parent. Thank you Nami-san for all that you do in putting these vlogs together. I wish that there were more people like you who cared about living life intentionally and thoughtfully.

6月我也去日本京都旅行
海外旅行で現地集合はドキドキしますね。この旅はお母様への誕生日のお祝いや母の日の感謝の気持ちを込めたプレゼントだったのでしょうか。最終日に枕元にバースデーカードを置く様子に感動してしまいました。台湾の街並みや雰囲気、食事、人の温かさどれも素敵でした。海外からの観光客に優しい台湾の方も事前にお礼のお菓子セットを持参するnamiさんの気遣いもどちらも素晴らしいですね。

I am sitting here crying because I lost my mother last year and tomorrow in America it is Mother’s Day. 😢 But it is so lovely to see you spending time alone with your mother on her special day. ❤ Thank you for making my Saturday mornings less lonely.
I've only just started watching the video, but I was sitting here fighting tears, for the same reason. I lost mine in Feb. of 2023. Last year I was exhausted and numb and out of it. This year, it's really hitting me. My heart goes out to you.
@@Yesica1993 It seems like February is really that kind of month. I lost my mother in Feb 2021, and this year she might have been 60. I feel for you so much!!! I know how much it hurts. I just still hope we can find comfort some day. 🫂

My deepest sympathies on your loss 😢❤. I lost my mom in October of 2017 and the ache never goes away. I miss her so much but I know she is with God in Heaven❤

Hello from Montreal! 😎 Seems like it's inevitable that you will pack way more stuff than you could ever need, but you only learn this by experience. Pack your suitcase, then put half of it back. Then take out two more things. You'll buy stuff when you're there! On the next trip you'll pack lighter I'm sure. It all comes with practice.
