My dad was an aircraft engineer worked for several airlines in his time, and he always told us the same sit any seat after and behind the wings, and Always keep seatbelt on always. I love Graham talking aircraft always bring back good memories of dad❤.

I an so proud of my daughter, she loves her job, she was on Response for 14 years and loved it, but was ready to change and then transferred to CID and passed her exams to become a DC... love her to bits, plus, as an added bonus, I have got to know some of the PC's as a law abiding citizen I might add... They are not all bad, there are some that are iffy, there have been 3 officers in the last 4 years, that have had to leave due to their actions... but we are lucky that what we have are hard working police... just thought I would share that with you... 😁😁😁😁😁GB

The old guy I am caretaker for,,83, he has bladder cancer, but is too. Hi risk for surgery,! So not sure what is going to happen?!! I’m in it until the end because he. Gave me my house and land !
Right there with you G! i use to judge a drive based on the number of bars along the way- now I just use the bathrooms in those same bars and get back on the road. I do not fly since 911- because of all the bull shit- just as well- those bathrooms are always nasty. I always got a seat close to them- even before 911. I also quit flying Cessnas because they don't have bathrooms and you never can tell if you're going to be able to set it down and get inside in time. LOVEMYLIFESOMUCH!
Yes, I cannot believe the goings on in New Orleans. Bourbon Street is famous for walking traffic as there are many bars and venues, so they have steel barricades that sink into the street and can be raised to prevent traffic coming down the street. For some reason, those were not up last night. They only had the orange cones up. That is the real question. Not only is it horrible that all the people were killed and injured, but there were thousands of people in town for the football game "The Sugar Bowl". Naturally, they postponed that game to Friday, but everyone that traveled to see the game has to decide whether to spend thousands of dollars for additional nights in hotel rooms, changed flights, etc or just to go home. I know that is nothing compared to the carnage, but it is additional problems caused for innocent people.
You two always give me the giggles. Not a bad space to be in mind! I like behind the wing and a window seat. I love watching the flaps, etc, moving on take off and landing. Flying gives me a real buzz❤

I live above a garage and on Boxing night two men were trying to steal cars. It was all caught on Camera, also the next morning one of the men came back and his full face was caught on camera. I’ve sent everything to the police. They haven’t even bothered to contact me!

A lady invited us onto her property, even though she was going out for the night to get a better view such a kind offer. There are nutters everywhere & yr right many victims do not get the full protection from the law. The perpetrator has every excuse mental health, bad childhood, skipped school took the wrong path, didn’t get enough lollies as a child, the list goes on. Take care of yourselves. Awful events once again in New Orleans, if you want to know more about the assailant, I recommend Tousi TV UA-cam channel, he identifies the attacker & shows footage of him being interviewed around 4 years ago in his role as a real estate manager in Texas, he was dressed in managerial collar & tie, a ‘man of colour’ who claimed to have grown up in the US, spoke with an American accent, spoke of his time in the US military reserves & his role there etc., it was most definitely a terror attack, he had privately hired the 4x4 type truck, was dressed in military fatigues, was wired up with a boom vest & other incendiary devices were apparently found in the vehicle & nearby, he was also apparently flying the repugnant ‘black flag’ from a pole connected to the rear bumper - frightening that someone who appeared like a regular guy was harbouring such hate & evil in his wicked heart! He also (Mahyar Tousi TV) just released another video that concerns your old stomping ground of Brighton, it relates to the kidnap & SA of a young 13 year old child/:girl which the mainstream media are once again failing to report on, once again perpetrated by a man of a certain demographic & apparently of no fixed abode, the alleged perpetrator was charged & appeared in court charged in connection with the abduction & SA & is due to appear again on the 28th Jan. Think that parachute jump simulator looks like fantastic fun 🤩, I watched a TV show about it years ago, would love to have a go on one of those things, & I have absolutely no head for heights. I bet Fiona would actually enjoy it too! I can fully empathise with your ablutions conundrum Graham, ever since my bowel reconstruction surgery, I have to remain in VERY close proximity to the ‘small room’ in my house most days, on the days when I know I have to go out, I eat very little (if at all) the day prior, & dose myself up on prescribed ‘drying up meds’, the less known ‘little blue pill’ - when things were really bad for me, I was prescribed up to eighty four of those little miracle workers a day 😳, mercifully that had been gradually decreased to 24/day & subsequently just ‘as required’. People have no idea how it can affect your day to day existence, it’s akin to being under house arrest by your own body!🤦♀️ On a brighter note, good to hear Ben has completed his African adventures & is heading back to join you both for another flying visit before his snowboarding 🏂 trip. When my hubby took flying lessons his instructor was a friend of David Coulthard. They did go karting together. Sadly I cannot remember his name. Graham are you a fan of Captain Eric Brown? Fiona have you tried the solve a murder games, you receive packets one full of evidence, one of statements and a video of the murder footage, then you have to solve the murder. They really are great and take time to solve. I think you may enjoy it. We took always wear our seatbelts. I oddly like turbulence as I feel like the plane is working correctly. Don't know why. I am looking at a trip to Paris for us. I want to see Notredame again now it is repaired. Did you see the fabulous light/drone display they did of the building. Absolutely beautiful. We have Malta trip end of March I think, then nothing booked for rest of year, so considering a couple of short city breaks. Considering London, Paris, Prague, and Warsaw. Possibly Naples area to visit Pompeii. Other options are cities affected by WWII as hubby and enthusiast. We always sit at the back. Only downfall is the smell of the toilets. I heard an entire family tree was lost in the South Korea crash. Imagine an entire family gone. Just awful. Happy New Year to all. Jxx
