- step-by-step on how to do a money piece (lightening the front bang area) & we are testing out a toner from sally's: ION toner in snow cap.
*key points:
•start with a middle part (even if you part your hair to the side usually)
•make a small triangle
•shave off the tip of the triangle
•apply lightener to the middle of the hair strands- lightly running through the ends
•let the lightener process until it's close to the level you want
•apply lightener to the root area, process
•shampoo, condition & tone if needed

lol 😂every single time I watch a video of yours I actually catch myself laughing out loud… your humor is refreshing. Thank you for sharing everything.
I love your sense of humor. It makes learning more fun. Thank you! 😊
Yes it does and she explains it to where you understand in simple terms
This came out super pretty! And wow your hair lightens soo fast!
I did a thicker piece of hair and I ended up using wella t14 & 050 but now looking at your video I would have been happier with the snow cap! Ah I almost bought that one too! Thank you for your videos
Just discovered your channel and you have answered all my questions 😅I’ve been bleach blonde for years and I need a change, thanks for all the insight and inspiration you’re the first person who explains things clearly and in a manner my brain can fully comprehend! You’re an awesome trainer! I’ll be watching all your content! Thanks again! ❤
Advice for blending natural grey hair with brown black hair please!!!! Im letting my grey hair grow in tired of covering them lol
in this sundays video (on my main channel) i have a lot of tips for greg hair!!
🎉 🤩😍my grey is making me crazy!
Oh thank you baby Jesus!! My greys are the karens of my existence! They don't go away they come back and ten times more annoying!
I get it! I stopped covering my greys five years ago - best decision ever!
Girl, yes! 🙌 I’ve been thinking about this all morning here 😅 Like, do I use a dark toner? Or do I just let the grey grow out because there’s always roots the next day
New follower here. I am literally wearing that same nail polish. Lol😂 and came here because I searched the new toner snow cap. Found your video. Love it. Very informative, and your money pieces look great.
Thanks for this video. I did (tried briefly) a money piece a few weeks ago. Front hair is finer than other hair and then realised it would need upkeep (bleaching then toning often as my hair grows fast). In theory it looks good but the upkeep when hair grows fast is too much. I ended up toning it darker again. It is a high maintenance feature!
I think it looks fabulous. You make everything look so easy!
Your videos are so informative! Truly helps me to be more confident with colour. Thanks! Love from India ❤
thank you for being here!!
I love watching you😂 yes I went and watered my plants and picked up the this and did that ash yah I’m bleaching my hair and I’m in the middle of a video❤❤❤😂😂😂
great video Brittnee
I really get a lot out of your videos
Looks great! I’m using a 6N to do my roots as my gray grows in and I was wondering if I should add a little bit of 6AV to keep it from getting brassy
yes you can! You could even do equal parts if you wanted- 20vol on gray!
Thanks girl ❤
👋 Di i put bleach on dry hair & toner on towel dried hair?
😁
🎉🎉🎉I FLIPPIN LOVE YOU. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
❤️❤️❤️❤️ thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️ thank you so so much❤️❤️❤️❤️
Brittnee do you have any tips / tricks for those coily course greys coming in my hair? They like to stick up in this humid hot weather and they are making me crazy!
She actually gave a tip in the video release today on her other channel. You should check it out! Xx
PSA j would not recommend this section of a money piece if you have a long/skinny face. it will create more height. you should do more of the sides/corners
How do you do a money peice for a side part
@@junemedford3296 I just did the same triangle pattern but starting where my part is. it's looks great and still blends well
@stephienotcurry hello..ok so you just use the 2 peices where you part your hair or form the triangle from the side part? I'd love to see a video on it so I'd get it right. Thank you for responding 💖
@@junemedford3296 I'm not a hairdresser so I won't do a video lol BUT I've been coloring my own hair for everrrrr... yes basically you just do the same thing she did but from the side.
@stephienotcurry awesome..hahaha I'm not a stylist either so I'm learning as I go along and her videos are amazing..thank you for responding I'll try it and see how it turns out. Thank you again
wow Thanks Brittnee..I will try that. really like that
Thank you
Have you tried Adore hair color? Could you review it? 🎉❤
Hi, so glad I found your videos you're a pro in teaching. I'm learning a lot from you. Thank you. It makes sense now whenever I read the levels.
I have a question though, what do you think of hair color remover? Is it the same as lightener (bleach) lol i have dyed my hair for years and the last 2 years used wella products only. Starting having a lot of grays now so i would like to transition to black and pepper ish what do you recommend? I have been using semipermanent color 3N. So when my roots grow it show a line.
10 outta 10 girl! Appreciate you ❤
Love your videos. What can I use to toner my grey hair?
How does that work if you part your hair on the side? I love your videos you explain everything very well that I can I understand and showing what needs to be done is excellent too. I have a question blondme lightner I believe says 1:1.5, would you use the 1:2 ratio which everyone says is preferred. Thank you

👋😃Hi britnee. I watch your show all the time. Even the shorts with Henry. You are very smart, witty & funny. And you make me giggle.
Question: Can you please let me know how I can do the highlights on my hair with bangs? The sides only. The money piece on hair with bangs
Thank you britnee. Take care.
I want to do highlights and a money piece so badly on my black hair, but I’m scared I’ll look like a bumble bee. 🤣🐝
Looks beautiful 🥰💕
thank you!!!❤️❤️
I’m a bit confused watching all your videos tutorials about toners. Should you buy Wella Toners color or use a permanent color with 10 volume developer?
What’s the difference between this toner and the wet toner in your other videos using the BV?
Do I have to take the money piece all the way to the scalp? ❤And Could you do a Scandinavian hairline highlight please
great thats today!
My hair is very similar to yours -so that helps! If I highlight & then it’s yellow.. would u suggest using this toner to fix? Or maybe T8 but w/10 developer.. You had also mentioned clairol 9AA BV in a diff video too. Which is best for this situation? Thx!! ❤ ur the best seriously!!!
How do you extend down to the sides thank you for the video always❤❤
❤
amazing how one wilting plant to get us ADHD girlies into either full on botanist mode, out here spritzing and trimming and propagating and putting in moss poles; or triggering a procrastination phase that leads to 80% of our plants drooping bc we couldn’t find the watering jug/pitcher/unfinished-bottle-of-water-in-the-floor that first time.
I’ve used snow cap and I liked the color ok but I found it to be, tbh just like all cool toned ion colors I’ve ever tried, very quick to fade. More noticeably so than anything else
If I’m trying to fix some darker areas in bleached hair that were missed, does the cleanliness of my hair matter? I have super thick coarse? wavy hair that is red in the back, blonde level 8/9 in the front, I normally air dry and smooth with a curling iron or straightener, then it’s like G2G for 10 days (and honestly still looks and smells great but I wash it when my scalp starts getting itchy) and I have about 3/4” of level 6ish banding about 5 inches from the scalp right in the front. My hair is layered shoulder length in front, longer in the back. I’m really trying to approach it in the safest way possible, so if I’m going to do this should I use foil or paper around the application so it’s not hitting the rest of my already lightened hair?
I usually only use products on day one, mostly to smooth and soften it and heat protect before hot tools, maybe a smoother to my ends every now and then through the week, but anyways I am probably just procrastinating but I feel like I’m about to do paint surgery on my hair and I can’t decide what the best conditions are for this. Clarifying shampoo really makes my hair extra unruly so I’m trying to figure out how to best space that out too so I’m not using it for every wash. So, if I put bleach surgery on ten day old “dirty” hair, will that even matter? I usually do and I don’t see issues, I get my issues from arthritis randomly kicking in mid-application.
This comment is too long
Does your hair need to be a level 9/10 to use the toner? My hair is about a level 7 in some areas and a level 8 in some areas.
no! you can tone any level
@@brittneealexushair thank you ❤️
My hair dresser says real toner shouldn’t need developer? Do you have any idea what she’s talking about?
How did it process that light in 10 mins with a 10 volume toner ?
my hair lightens really fast but it also will fry really fast 😂
@@brittneealexushair well I’ve bleached my own hair I’m a level 5 dark brown and I just 30 volume and the same cream bleach for my whip head and it took forever to get to that level you got to
Can this be done on salt and pepper hair color?
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I have white hair that already grows like that naturally, should I quit dying it? I’ve been using henna
lucky! i love that- so beautiful!!! embrace it! such a beautiful look when it’s natural! kind of like those hair birthmarks- those are gorgeous!
@@brittneealexushair awww thank you! I didn’t know it was a thing 😄
Can you do a video on henna? That would be awesome! I love to learn
