I just bought a 2020. It is amazing. I love the sport mode when its just me in the car (family car) it goes FAST. Smooth ride , quite engine. It feels like a Cadillac.
You are without a doubt the vehicle review content king!!!! As a hospital worker I have never been so stressed out in my life during these crazy times, your videos give me some joy in my days as I can forget what is happening in the world for a few minutes!! We love you Joe Raiti !! You tha best !!
Great review! I got this same model and trim level two months ago and I couldn't be happier with it. Such a great value and Kia really did a great job all around with the design. I continue to be blown away by how quiet and smooth is drives. Highly recommend it! Thanks for doing a review on something other than a fully loaded top level trim package!!!
Those "LED Lights" in the 3rd Row are actually sensors that can alert you on your phone with the UVO app to alert you if it detects motion inside the car in case you left the dog or kid inside.
You are the straight up no BS reviewer. Thank you. Please don’t change how you review cars. I don’t care what everyone else does differently. Keep your style man.
This first generation vehicle will be the only one that will be loaded with all the trim levels because “they want you to “tell your ride” to people” after that they will start removing trim levels and the “telling” has already happened.
This dude cracks me up! I really enjoy his videos and yes I ordered this S model a few months back and still waiting for delivery but it’s ok I learned patience some yrs back when I special ordered my Harley, it should be worth waiting for too, anyway great job amigo!
Gotta say, competition is fierce in the Mid-sized SUV market. I've been hoping for that blind spot camera that Kia has in their gauge cluster. That's a game changer 👌🏼 Great vid, Joe!
The Hyundai Palisade has an even better execution of that blind spot camera. Has a full 12" digital dash. The center of the speedometer shows the driver side camera view and the center of the tachometer shows the passenger side camera view.
'selluride' 😂great. Mann i just admire the way you present all the stuffs... Just perfect as a reviewer.. Full of information combined with a bit fun 👍
Just purchased this same vehicle (same color and trim also) yesterday and I've learned more about it from watching this video than in the several hours spent at the dealership!
Johnny Parker my personal favorite is the fact that I was able to move into my apartment in just two trips using my Tahoe, couch included. Then when I was done I picked up 7 of my friends and we went out to dinner, lol.
We bought a Telluride S 4wd....I agree with every thing this guy has said....No hype. We LOVE the car. It is comfortable, rides nice, lots of space. Actually there are so many amazing features to mention. We purchased to travel, and it does a great job with space and the seats fold down flat. Love Love!
YYYYEEEEESSSSSS!!!!! MY DREAM CAME TRUE!!!!!! 10:31 FIRST TIME I AM SEEING IN DEPTH YOUR LEGS FOR REFERENCE OF THIRD ROW VEHICLES!!!! BECAUSE I AM 6’ 1” 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 THAT IS GOOD QUALITY CONTENT. THAT’S EHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT. SORRY FOR THE CAPS. I AM SO EXCITED!!!!! 😃😃😃😃💖💖💖💖💖💖💖 KEEP IT UP RAITI!!!!! YYYAAAAASSSSSSS
I have the S, and love it. I do have some upgrades. I got rid of the captain chairs, and have a full row, that fits 3 teenagers perfectly. My brother is 6’5 and can fit in the 3rd row. I also added controls for my garage, darken my back rows windows a little more. Plus I have 20 inch wheels instead of the standard 18 inch. It put me over 40k, but it was well worth it.
I want to upgrade from my BELOVED Kia Soul to this Telluride lol, I know I'll need it as my kids get bigger, and this will allow me to haul my brothers too!
Excellent presentation, Joe. The biggest "zonk" most consumers experience with the Telluride is simply purchasing one as a result of crushing demand and limited supply. The problem began a year ago when KIA planned to produce a total of 41,000 vehicles in the first calendar year. Based on past experience that was a relatively optimistic projection but it came nowhere near the the demand when the Telluride was introduced. The problem was then compounded by KIA dealers who weren't used to a deluge of customers willing to pay $45K for a KIA. So when dealers placed orders they over-ordered the lowest trim "S" model and severely under-ordered the SX/PP top trim models. Waiting lists soon stretched to six months or longer. KIA did what they could to increase production. In the first 10 months of production, dealers sold 58,000 vehicles but still couldn't keep up with demand. The response from many dealers was to add "market adjustment" stickers to their vehicles. It's a shortsighted strategy and KIA discourages the practice but there is nothing a manufacturer can do to prohibit it since KIA's customers are not consumers. They're independent dealers who are free to set their own retail price. Fortunately, some dealers have resisted the temptation to gouge their customers but the result is mainly to lengthen the waiting list for Tellurides at those dealers. Such is the price of "free enterprise." :) On another topic, now that your numbskull governor has finally imposed a statewide "stay at home" policy I suspect we won't be seeing as much of you for a while, Joe. The good news on that score, though, is you and Lori are somewhat more likely to remain healthy. Take care. I'll look forward to seeing your reviews when the world returns to normal.
It really is a sharp looking SUV. For my money its all about that Moss Green Top trim level. Still great bang for the buck no matter how you slice it. Keep it up Capt Content !
Thank you so much Joe for all your videos; it really helps make time pass in dealing with what we're all going through. Onto the topic, I prefer the Telluride but would most likely get a Palisade when the time comes; my wife likes the design better (of course, it would be for her as well). Be safe.
I just found your channel but you do an amazing job at detailing every little facet of the car and making it simple to understand! definitely subscribing and appreciate your hard work!
Tried to buy a Telluride but they're impossible to come by, so we went with a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Very good-looking car. Probably a better fit since we don't have any kids but I still think the Telluride is the best value of any SUV on the market.
It reminded me of the Collinin and the should of went with 2 exaust, and maybe with 350 hp with lowed suspension and a longer spoiler but in black.thats what you call a sport tulluride👌🏾👍🏾
My whole life I never considered buying a Kia/Hyundai but when the Telluride came out I thought it looks better than even luxury brand vehicles. Whoever designed the Telluride basically designed a better looking Chevy Tahoe and it's a medium sized which makes it more fuel efficient. I'm actually considering especially the amazing value for 36k nothing else gives you this much.
We just got ours! We special ordered our Telluride S model 8 freakin months ago and it just came in last week! Actually this is the wife’s newby in dark moss and the two tone black and light gray which is closer to a off white to me, interior which really pops! But , while I do like the dark moss, it does seem to change color depending on the light, when it’s cloudy it’s more of a green hornet ( dark green), when it’s sunny, you see the olive in it, but what’s really strange is at times when the light is so so, it’s a bronze color?? Which has been pointed out by others( it’s not in my head) But looks good as bronze! Anyway it drives great and makes the neighborhood a little classier I might add, lol !
4runner for me and my wife owns this, it’s like eating at that favourite hole in the wall restaurant that you’ve been going for years = 4runner, having a nice steak dinner date at a steakhouse = telluride.
This is as close to the Telluride EX for the Canadians, however we do get tri-zone climate control, larger infotainment display with navi system. However we're stuck with a mid-row bench.
This car is absolute gorgeous !! and its cleaner than a lot of cars I've seen you review at double the price. It's cleaner, Nicer and have more accessories. Kia has definitely come a Long way and if I was car shopping g this vehicle would definitely be on my list.
What kind of materials are those upper panels of the front doors made out of? They look like hard plastics. Someone else made the comment that the rear passenger doors are all hard plastics. Just curious.
My wife has a Sorento and really wants a Telluride. The only down side is that they are almost too good. It’s hard to find the exact one you want and Kia usually offers great deals and incentives but not on the Telluride since they can barely keep them on the lots.
This dude really likes his snacks... I'm envisioning leaving all those peanut M&M's in the cargo space after a nice hot summer day... Otherwise great review of a mid-level trim!
Another great review by Joe but at 4:32 you again refer to gas struts as hydraulic struts which is not correct. I'm sorry, but I am going to have to Zonk that! No Twinkie's for you tonight!
Bought the S trim “S-elluride” if you will. Loved it for all these reasons, sad that I can’t drive it as often as I would under normal societal conditions, but I love staring at it from my window. Something that he touched lightly on that I have to emphasize- speaker sound quality. They aren’t on the same level as the high end trim speakers of some cars, but they more than get the job done. Music is a must when I’m driving and I love the sound quality out of these stock speakers. Just another tick on where they didn’t skimp on lower trims in quality. Getting double takes wherever I take it, I am so glad I was able to purchase this as my first ever brand new car. (I’m in my mid-thirties, family of 4)
I actually bought this exact car from lockey Kia in February. Someone side swiped it and when was so sad when i was in the rental. No comparison to the luxury feel of this car. Even on the s trim
Great Job as always Joe! However, I have to zonk the headlights for not being LED. That downgrades their safety rating. There's no real excuse this day and age to not have LEDs across all trim levels - Safety first Kia...
No, no, no Joe. You got your facts wrong. You've been doing so good with your history and facts. Well up to now. The KIA Telluride is built in West Point, Georgia. West Point isn't even in Atlanta metropolitan area. I know I'm from Georgia live in Columbus Georgia. I work in West Point in the Hyundai Glovis warehouse. My job is logistics. I pick and sort parts to be transported to KIA for final assembly. So yeah the Telluride is built in West Point Georgia. Now you know Joe. I hope you found this information useful.
KIA Telluride is the best midsize suv around, quality, low price, equipment, warranty and of course looks the best. More rugged and luxurious that even a Palisade. It won’t break down prematurely like your Range Rover or Jeep. I’m waiting to buy a used one for about $27k but for now eyes on the Stinger GT. lol
You should research the 2009 - 2011 Kia Borrego. I have had mine since 2009 and it still runs strong. It has a 4.6 V8 and most of today's options, other than high technology. It was Kia's first venture into modern can network and drive by wire. It is still made but not imported into North America. It is a body on frame unit and seats 7. Over all it has been a good unit, but now is becoming an orphan. I have no idea what I might replace it with, the Telluride, like most, does not have a frame. Thank You - just for information.
@@LondonHasFallin ya i agree the white lights looks much cleaner, as long as they get installed correctly with leveling its all hood but some reflectors send the led light everywhere

The first thing I did on my new Telluride was to put luxury KLexus badge overlays on it. I didn’t like the Kia logo Now the KLexus badge overlays keep the car snobs guessing! 🤗
Illuminating review -- thanks! How about comparing a Telluride S to a Palisade SEL (without any package)? They cost about the same (and I'm torn between them!)
Oops! Sorry, i see that you already compared the two ("Should you BUY a 2020 Hyundai Palisade Limited over the Kia Telluride?" -- pity it's not for the trim levels I can buy!)
One of the few reviewers that will review a trim other than the top level...love it!

The trim of Telluride that Joe drove last year was sick and the price was about the same. Loving that more than the S.
Gareth Hood that one was fully loaded.
Loaded is 10k more than the S.

I just hope this will be available here in the Philippines. Really love this car.
You my spirit animal!!
