I know this album had it’s genuine reasons for cancellation , but the end of the property era being such an abrupt sudden end actually feels so fitting. “ the album is cancelled go home “ & Doing a few singles then calling it off feels very right for the whole IPs branding. I think this is even cooler
Starting with the same set up from the concert brings back the exact same feeling as seeing it for the first time 😭 I hate saying goodbye to this era but I'm glad you're doing what's best for yourself 🩵

watching and hearing the original version of this live on opening night was so deeply, profoundly impactful, and was equally impactful every single subsequent time (i saw the sooh tour 9 times, hi!!). The way it was sped, mastered and filmed for this release is an ENTIRELY different vibe and i absolutely fucking LOVE it, just as much as before (maybe more), just in different ways. This video just blew the visuals out of the park. I had actually been spending a while working on horror themed artwork for a game inspired by IP/IP2 and this video perfectly encapsulated the vibe and vision i had for that, sadly idk if ill still be working on that since the cancellation of IP2, but it still like hits my brain in all the right spots to see EXACTLY what my vision for this era was, put out as an official waterparks video. Just a genuinely incredible piece of art. Thanks for the era, thanks for the tours, thanks for cancelling the album to take care of yourself Awsten, its the most important thing in the world to me. My heart breaks so much for you, Awsten. I’m really glad you’re caring for your mental health. You put so much thought, power, and creativity into your music. And sometimes, sharing our trauma with others can be healing. Other times, it can be too much, and induce that same sort of guilt/shame religious trauma will. I hope your next endeavors feel more true to who you really are, and don’t feel like you’re bearing your soul to a world that isn’t prepared to receive it. Because that hurts.
