I spent ages looking and watching Videos of People Clicking it and Moving it not saying Anything. You have just saved me! Thank you So Much 💖💖
glad it helped!
This covered everything I was looking for with such efficiency. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Ryan, I just want to tell you, every single one of your videos teaches me a mountain of things. I always learn something new from you, and I almost didn't even click this particular video because I thought, "I already know how to use the camera, this video's going to be more geared toward beginners." I'm glad I didn't listen to myself, because as usual, I walked away from this video with quite a few tips I had no clue about before. You're awesome man, I watch a TON of Blender channels and modeling channels in general, and you're easily one of the best teachers in the whole community.
Wow, thank you very much! I'm glad my videos are helpful!
I'll second your comment. What I like about Ryan's tutorials is that not only are they very informative, but he has an excellent delivery style. He speaks slowly enough that you have time to take in what he's saying, but not so slowly that you'd fall asleep. He also doesn't distract you with off-topic banter like some other tutorials I've watched. There's a fine line between being entertaining and being annoying. Default Cube and Ian Hubert manage to pull it off, but a lot of other tutorial creators should leave the jokes alone.
@@peterh8253 Glad you enjoy my tutorials!
Thank you! You are a great teacher (telling this 120% honest because I also have experience in teaching people)! Really appreciate your work - every time your tutorials are covering I was looking for. Thanks a million!

Thanks a lot for this tutorial! Ctrl+B is great help, especially for slower hardware. For the camera resolution: there are presets for HD, 4K etc. in the little dropdown.

Can't believe that this basic camera movement (especially double-tapping z to move in/out) is not mentioned by any tutorials elsewhere. Knew there was some way to do this!

@@RyanKingArt how do you reset the camera to being in the right position meaning i want my camera looking straight at the scene, i have a plane like floor object and i want the camera like if it was on a tripod on the plane filming a set or characters idk if i make a lot of scene im sorry, like if you place the camera perpendicular to the floor, maybe im thinking too much?
You saved me from days of stumbling around. Thank you!!
Also the "Empty" object DoF target was a nice bonus.

wih the shift tilde fly mode you can press TAB and it drops you in the enviroment
so if you are making an enviroment for an FPS game or TPS game, this is very useful to see sizes and ratios of places before taking it to a game engine
Yes, that's a very cool feature of the camera!
thank you so much. i have just hated using these cameras so much
thanks for watching.
Great tutorial, Blender cameras are very different from other softwares I used, I was scared. I learned a lot, thank you. :)

10000 points for telling me about "grave accent" button being usable to enter camera view instead of numpad 0. I'de watched 5 videos in the past and no one ever told me this so I gave up trying to get into camera view!

Oh my god, thank you for the tip about setting the active camera through the view tab. Something happened with my blender shortcuts and nothing is working today.
