This mod and Lullaby are the only 2 mods I've seen that actually manage to nail Pico's character perfectly; He's no bitch, and he won't ever go down without a hell of a fight.

I actually like how Pico's voice in the running segment feels like it's being drowned out. There's quite possibly an infinite amount of Mr. L singing all at once, so it makes sense that their voices would take priority over Pico's. Just a testimony to how badass he is, basically saying that, "You can't drown me out yet, bitches!".

3. I gotta know how they scripted the infinite opponents with the running segment. They all animate properly, which leads me to believe that every single Luigi is a separate instance. But that would be a pain in the ass to code, and the fact that it doesn’t lag at all is baffling to me.

That's where your wrong, there is a transition but it's barely there. Mr.L turning around was the transition, because of how smooth it was, you can't really notice it.
The finale to this has to be one of my favorite parts of the mod, if not THE favorite. Running for your life through an endless row of green demons on both sides, all moving and mocking to the beat, is just such an intense scene. I love it
Imagine if the ending is just one of them pulling his legs out to make pico fall and then the actual Mr L running behind pico grabs him and eats him like in the game over screen
Well guess what. The retry screen when if the player misses the notes too many times is Mr. L catching Pico and bites his head and ripping it off from his body.
And here I thought is where Mr. L is just trying to be like an demon of like telling the victim he’s gonna kill it’s too late of course cause there’s no escape from him but Pico telling them to F- off

This is one of my favorite portrayals of Pico in an FNF mod. He’s been through, what, two school shootings now? According to FNF lore, he’s a hired assassin, and since Hypno’s Lullaby is canon to this mod, (Hypno is shown in the beginning as one of the monsters BF has defeated) he’s also squared off with Purin. This isn’t the first time he’s stared death in the face. And Pico will always fight to make sure it isn’t his last.

2:52 is the best part for me. I really like the vocals here and the art of all the Mr. L's lined up and staring down almost judgmental in a way and making taunting gestures at pico as he runs, it gives off creepy, dreadful, hopelessness vibes which I think fits perfectly

I get that argument, especially when it's a game OST that isn't a rhythm game, but FNF, being a music game, does require that the music be very good, bc it's no longer part of the bg and ignorable but rather an essential part of the game. It has to be excellent and fit the tone, and I don't think this is the way to do it.

I mean, besides some exceptions, Mr. L has never really been shown as all that powerful of a character, rather being more foreboding and mysterious. As for Pico, I don't even know what the deal with his is, so I'll give you that.
As for the melodic aspect, I can understand why the odd nature would be a turn-off. But I think it works better in the context of the game. I don't know the exact location that Overdue takes place in, but I'm pretty sure it still takes place in Too Late.exe, which is a corrupted copy of Mario 3. So it kinda makes sense why the music itself would be off, considering the fact that the whole game is.
Also the only version. Period. We can all agree on that right? Good.

I’m saying this right now. This is better than sonic exe. The songs are even better then sonic exes songs. I mean they literally cancelled the mod after 8-months or progress and only added 5 SONGS. 5. ONE OF THEM BEING SOULESS HASENT BEEN FINISHED. I mean. There were some revamps to songs like too fest but that’s literally it with encore songs. While with Marios madness this took longer than VS imposter v4 and maybe even indile cross. That’s how good it is. They actually tried whilst exes developers DIDNT.

I mean what changes compared to the other mods is the atmosphere, for example sonic.exe just shows jumpscares and hypno has some atmosphere to it but Mario’s madness has a lot of dark atmosphere which is why some people can find this kind of scary or shocking

This is just a plot armor, that's why he survived. Besides that, realistically, Mario would probably be able to defeat Mr. L canonically, but since in Creepypasta it's another story, there isn't much to do.
