Hi René, just a quick warning for you...if more people will start using your EA and it remains profitable, they will kick you out in a few months at latest. I wish more people would talk about this because in my opinion they are not fair. As long as people are losing money/challenges or blowing accounts 'EA's are allowed without any problem' but as soon as you have passed the challenge and use that same EA, after a couple of withdrawals (at most) they will check your account (by comparing trade entries/exits, SL and TP, trade comment and/or magic number) and if you're using a public EA they suspend your account and you get 'flagged' for copy trading. After explaining that it's an EA they just tell you that too many people are using the same EA and that's the end of that. Gone account. In my opinion that's nothing less then a scam. they should simply say that public EA's are not allowed then but they don't because a lot less people would attempt the challenges. You might get away with it if they know who you are and what the size of your UA-cam channel is but others simply get kicked out
Thats very true.Its in their best interest when people are continuously losing and spending money on the challenges themselves.They are not really looking for profitable traders.If they really cared about profits.Profitable Robots would not be an issue.Sacmmers

Congratulations I would recommend when you get your real account to take a small trade. Your first payment countdown only starts after your first trade so I would open a 0.01 lot and close it so the countdown will begin. That was a great series. Good luck with your other funded trading adventures

Congratulations Rene. I don't know whether it was luck or not. But the execution was really good. Maybe it is a good idea to reduce the risk per trade for the live account onwards? Just for the sake of the sustainability of the account. For the scale up program we only needed to reach average of 2.5% net profit per month for 4 months.

Hey, thanks :) I use the default settings and only change the tsl trigger points. 20 for eurusd and 40 for usdjpy. The version in the mql5 store has some modifications compared to the one from the coding tutorial.

Hey, thanks :) you only receive a licensed executable on mql5 and you do not receive the source code. I did not really test the MT4 Version in a live account so it is hard to tell. It depends on different things I guess. The program itself should not behave differently.
Rene, I have an important question for you and the scalping project EA. Do you think it’s better trading the EA on one account + on one pair? I’m concerned about the compounding affect on a loosing streak. Drawdowns could be a bit rough if they are experienced on both EU and UJ at the same time while risking 5%

Yes that could be a risk. I still trade two pairs at the same time. But you can trade one only of course. I cannot give an answer here because I cannot see the future ;) But I agree that this could be a risk

Good job, I was waiting for this. Two questions; was this the third attempt? What was the maximum drawdown in %? The latter will determine its success in prop trading. My own challenge strategy will be to start small, the first profit will finance the next level and so on up to the million USD level.

Danke :) Gute Idee, aber sehr schwierig umzusetzen. Ich bekomme aktuell schon täglich mehrere Vorschläge für EAs/Anpassungen. Wenn ich jetzt noch aktiv dazu aufrufe, dann wird es noch mehr. Ich habe leider aktuell schon keine Chance mehr auf alle individuelle Anfragen einzugehen, weshalb ich einfach versuchen möglichst viel gesammelt abzudecken.
So, trading with lower risk say on 1>2 percent would possibly still pass? My advice is if you do pass a challenge, do zero trading on the live account or with very low risk and breakeven at all trades and wait for the refund from the challenge after 30days.

Yeah right now I am trading really low risk in the live account :D you can still pass with lower risk.. evaluation challenges are up to luck at some point I guess
Hi rene, i’m using the scalping project to pass a challenge with another type of prop firm, i’m using the bot at the m15 tf and the SL at 100 anche the TP at 150, with the distante point at 100 and tslpoints and tslpointstrigger to 5, because is very profitble according to my test, but now i have a slippage problem because in some situation i bring a stop for the slippage, because sometimes the positions opens at about 0,3 pips over or under so the tsl not work very well. How can i risolve this problem? Thanks for your time anche for your coding.

Hey, thanks for the comment. Unfortunately you cannot solve the slippage problem. That is why small timeframes (and small TP/SL distances) often struggle. The trading costs such as slippage have a huge impact here. You have to consider this when testing and make sure your testing profits could cover the slippage.
i have been running on test vps on a $10,000 account for 9 trading days on xauusd and today its upto $10,753, i am running this test for a month with a single (1) lot size , with 14 trades
i have run the ea threw the optizimer in mt5 on 28 different pairs and gold, theres only a few that are suited to the breakout style trading, the best of all being gold

Ive made an ea similar using the help from the coding explanation video on it. I've changed a couple of things and added some new settings - I'm happy with it - it makes good results but i think i need to adjust some code with the bars as sometimes it doesnt place the orders where they should be, sometimes its just on a random low that isnt the lowest low for example. Anything i should check or change? Thanks

Well it was you who said that they only are after your challenge fees. I already said in your first video that this would be stupid, they are after good traders, so it doesn´t make the slightest sense to make the tests unfair in any way. After all, 80% of traders are not profitable, so they will get this 80% of challenge fees anyhow. But rigging the challenge and driving away a good trader would cost them way more than they ever could earn by challenge fees. After all their business concept is getting investors and offering crazy high returns, so they need the traders.

Congrats on passing MFF :-). Most of EA-s usually in long term blow accounts. I've personally tested 1000-s. But there are great strategies that are still not developed, like trading EA based on some custom SMC strategies.
@@Viral-fun-videos-l3e All of them should be monitored manually they can work for nice amount of time and in News events and high volatility they can lose most of profits. Only EA that would be able to think like pro Traders would be some custom made Ai - EA that would trade most profitable strats, based on good risk management.
Is this Bot Allowed For LIVE Trading. Seems like it would almost be impossible to offload your trades to the real market (slippage) unless they let you directly trade the feed (but dont all trades go through their evaluation system?).

@ I was speaking about trading THROUGH the Prop Firm. I was under the understanding that your trades are being filtered through an internal system before being traded on the LIVE market. Your personal account is directly trading the market. I thought most prop firms filter trades so they have trouble with small pip scalpers. I know in the evaluation stage you trade demo but I was wondering if you're getting the same results trades LIVE through MFF since the trade is passing through an added layer. Just wondering about prop firm scalping (since they recommend against it).

@@dearfiaa hm I also use the same mff broker. They only have one :D I don't know why you have so much slippage... Are you sure it is 2 or 3 pips (20 - 30 points) for every single trade? Or just sometimes?

No not really. I do not like to "recommend" any settings because I cannot predict the future. But feel free to use the free demo for some tests before buying. Also you can watch the video on the mql5 page in which I explain the EA. In the end you will the my personal settings.
Lucky yes almost 90% win rate is somewhat lucky, but with your trading style I'm sure you can pass another challenge. As smooth or as high win rate as this one I don't know
@ Thats great this scalping bot of yours looks to be really good at making profits in the long run some of the bots out there are not this good. And you and some of the traders out there who use bots have made me realize that bots work and can be used to win prop firms trading challenges

I use #define IndicatorPath "Indicators\\customindicator.mq5" #resource "\\" + IndicatorPath #define Indicator "::" + IndicatorPath HandleExample= iCustom(Symbol(),Period(),Indicator,0,0,0); Now it says as an error: "Unknown resource type". Do you have any idea why this is? Or do you maybe have a video where you use a custom indicator in an ea which I can see so I can follow along and maybe write my code differently? Please would you shed some light (in a video) on MT4/5 being removed from app stores and regulated brokers in the USA perhaps traders will have to use a different software. I'm looking into Tradingview programming as all my ea's are mt4/5 and I fear i will soon not be able to use them. Secondly, as for My Forex Funds being fair in your opinion, you use a scalping strategy. However, I have failed a few challenges because of the equity rule, but I'm a swing trader and that rule affects swing traders unfairly, so now I'm doing FTMO challenge, no restrictions and I trade how I like without being penalized.

Hey, I am not an apple user so I did not really get in touch with the removal. As far as I know there are no problems with Windows or Android. Does ftmo allow bigger drawdowns? I thought they also have a 5% rule :O

Hey, if someone wrote you on telegram using my name it is not me. I do not really use telegram. You could use some indicator like the ATR to measure the volatility and then trade accordingly. In mql5 nearly everything is possible :)

Congrate Rene, what is the lot size you use for phase 1 and Phase 2 ? That's a 100k account, right?
Thus und as a 5k account. I used 4% for phase 1 and 3% for phase 2 per trade.

Hi rene, i’m using the scalping project to pass a challenge with another type of prop firm, i’m using the bot at the m15 tf and the SL at 100 anche the TP at 150, with the distante point at 100 and tslpoints and tslpointstrigger to 5, because is very profitble according to my test, but now i have a slippage problem because in some situation i bring a stop for the slippage, because sometimes the positions opens at about 0,3 pips over or under so the tsl not work very well. How can i risolve this problem? Thanks for your time anche for your coding.
Hey, thanks for the comment. Unfortunately you cannot solve the slippage problem. That is why small timeframes (and small TP/SL distances) often struggle. The trading costs such as slippage have a huge impact here. You have to consider this when testing and make sure your testing profits could cover the slippage.
i have been running on test vps on a $10,000 account for 9 trading days on xauusd and today its upto $10,753, i am running this test for a month with a single (1) lot size , with 14 trades
i have run the ea threw the optizimer in mt5 on 28 different pairs and gold, theres only a few that are suited to the breakout style trading, the best of all being gold
also this ea looks like it might work well on us30, wti as well as these markerts fit into the small range then breakouts during the day
Yeah it shows good results in the tester. What you have to keep an eye on is slippage. It might be high in gold if you trade it live :/

No but you have to enable the drawdown monitoring for both EAs.
Ive made an ea similar using the help from the coding explanation video on it. I've changed a couple of things and added some new settings - I'm happy with it - it makes good results but i think i need to adjust some code with the bars as sometimes it doesnt place the orders where they should be, sometimes its just on a random low that isnt the lowest low for example. Anything i should check or change? Thanks

Well it was you who said that they only are after your challenge fees. I already said in your first video that this would be stupid, they are after good traders, so it doesn´t make the slightest sense to make the tests unfair in any way. After all, 80% of traders are not profitable, so they will get this 80% of challenge fees anyhow. But rigging the challenge and driving away a good trader would cost them way more than they ever could earn by challenge fees. After all their business concept is getting investors and offering crazy high returns, so they need the traders.
I still believe that it is best for them if traders fail the challenge :D But I might be wrong and they really want traders to pass ;)
"Scalping Project EA" is for forex pairs only, or does the code have restrictions if I use it on indices?
You can use it to trade any symbol you like. There are no restrictions.

Congrats on passing MFF :-). Most of EA-s usually in long term blow accounts. I've personally tested 1000-s. But there are great strategies that are still not developed, like trading EA based on some custom SMC strategies.

Only EA that would be able to think like pro Traders would be some custom made Ai - EA that would trade most profitable strats, based on good risk management.
Is this Bot Allowed For LIVE Trading. Seems like it would almost be impossible to offload your trades to the real market (slippage) unless they let you directly trade the feed (but dont all trades go through their evaluation system?).

@ I was speaking about trading THROUGH the Prop Firm. I was under the understanding that your trades are being filtered through an internal system before being traded on the LIVE market. Your personal account is directly trading the market. I thought most prop firms filter trades so they have trouble with small pip scalpers. I know in the evaluation stage you trade demo but I was wondering if you're getting the same results trades LIVE through MFF since the trade is passing through an added layer. Just wondering about prop firm scalping (since they recommend against it).

I don't have so much slippage for every trade. Sometimes yeah but not every time. Depends on the market movements.

Please would you shed some light (in a video) on MT4/5 being removed from app stores and regulated brokers in the USA perhaps traders will have to use a different software. I'm looking into Tradingview programming as all my ea's are mt4/5 and I fear i will soon not be able to use them.
Secondly, as for My Forex Funds being fair in your opinion, you use a scalping strategy. However, I have failed a few challenges because of the equity rule, but I'm a swing trader and that rule affects swing traders unfairly, so now I'm doing FTMO challenge, no restrictions and I trade how I like without being penalized.
Hey, I am not an apple user so I did not really get in touch with the removal. As far as I know there are no problems with Windows or Android. Does ftmo allow bigger drawdowns? I thought they also have a 5% rule :O

By the way, is it possible to have a tool to check the volatility of a certain pair? It enables the Algo Trading when volatility is huge or the other way around.
Hey, if someone wrote you on telegram using my name it is not me. I do not really use telegram. You could use some indicator like the ATR to measure the volatility and then trade accordingly. In mql5 nearly everything is possible :)
