I think what they do is have several LLC's or overseas corps. By the time they get shut down they just take the cash and go BK. or the purchasers agreement is loaded with caveats.

#youtube loves these scams. They live for it literally. They love making money off the sheeple in any way possible online. They know that a certain percentage of the sheeple will fall for the scam and essentially make them millions. They will drop the adverts at a certain pre-determined level of revenue so they can legally claim it was the advertisee's fault and not Google. They will claim they had no idea it was going to be a scam (false advertising). This is normal for tech giants. Facebook does it big time as well as tik tok. #youtube (owned by Google) who claims not to be EVIL, sure does tons of #evil acts online. Taking advantage of people.

Thanks! I just got this ad on UA-cam. It claims to be "100% Fuel-Free" when it's a butane lighter. I wish UA-cam gave you the option of flagging scam ads, there's no way to do so after the ad has finished. An "Ad History" page would be helpful in reporting these scams, and also to go back to see something that is actually useful.
It’s not deceptive advertising. It’s FALSE advertising. A straight up lie, among a whole bunch of other lies.
I just saw an ad 5 minutes ago that said it does not use any gas or butane.

I just watched this ad on UA-cam. Everything I saw threw my chemistry education into question. In fact, the ad said specifically that the lighter doesn't use butane. Instead, it said the lighter uses a plasma flame. It just seemed a bit too ridiculous

Just bought it from tractor supply for $27. Haven’t used it for extended times but it gives a strong flame. There is no way that you could plug in and charge. Purely a butane lighter.
Yeah it's a $2 Chinese piece of crap torch with the inconsistent flame that is very dangerous they either goes all the way down or it shoots all the way across the room is no way a 50 dollar torch that I paid

I was excited when i viewd the youtube ad. But, I was wondering how they were creating "plasma" without it being a gas powered machine. The idea of a "tesla coil" producing plasma would be ionizing the air around it to produce a plasma, and that would be a gigantic crazy scary machine, not one that fits into a pocket. Thus here I have actually described the "light saber" in Star Wars, which is hilarious that people simply accept that it's true and real. Thank you for clarification, even though my own mind should have done that on it's own. (I couldn't have known it's filled with butane, their ad does "lie" about this in a "legal" way).. as all it does take of a plasma to ignite a flammable gas are a couple of ionized atoms at most. Gr8! Peace ☮💜

The blue flame indicate a butane fuel source. To create a plasma a machine uses a gas and an electric arc to produce plasma which is an ionized gas.
The funniest part is just before this video plays, the ad is for THIS LIGHTER. I'm not sure if that's irony or arrogance?

Yes, I ordered this product and although I did not order a three-pack, three arrived. Excited, I opened the box and pulled it out, but was very disappointed to find NO USB PORT on the lighter. Also, the instructions included were all in Chinese. Reading the English printed on the box, it had instructions on how to recharge the lighter with Butane! If you go to the site and click on 'Contact', it will not take you to a contact center or page. It goes to an order page. DO NOT BUY THIS BASED ON THE ADVERT. YOU WILL NOT GET WHAT YOU EXPECT.
Dude I just got scammed too. Telling me that they received the wrong ones and asking me if I want to keep it for a discount and then telling me I have to pay to ship it back. And since I replied with wanting an RA number they have gone ghost. Basically they are taking our hard earned money and making money off of it. I am so perplexed how this can happen. Don’t worry. Two days ago I saw a homeless person with one and today the ad popped up in my feed... "Not available on Amazon or eBay or in stores" no homeless person is buying a $70 lighter only shipped from the "manufacturer", and it is on Amazon and eBay so those would have been red flags even without the "dual arch plasma" lie or the obvious butane fill port...
It’s a butane torch. You can see the butane port on the bottom of the unit. I bought one anyway, the flame is enormous.
Not to mention the flame.
unfortunately i fell for this bogus ad... claiming "no gas or butane!"... strictly a lie!.... and there are no charging ports, fake or not... plus it comes with little handy dandy coke spoon and cleaning kit 😡

Lucky for you, head to the store and you’ll likely be surprised, Lowe’s, Walmart, tractor supply, and many others carry pocket torches… the round blue one with a bottle opener actually works ok for $8
This seems less like intentional false advertising, than it does just sheer damn laziness.
It looks like a company selling an electric lighter, lost their supplier, and couldn't get another electric lighter.
And instead of making a new ad to go with it, they just switched the picture in their old ad.

Went to the order page and a) the wood version isn't listed and b) the order description specifically says "gas powered". I guess they're hoping nobody reads that.

There are some people who do good reviews of products, but the INTERNET REALLY needs a WORLDWIDE BBB that if your product is not registered on it, then your product is almost always going to be a scam. No more of this "taking the Internet by storm" or "a medical doctor in Timbuktu made this amazing discovery" - always in a computer-generated fake voice.

I just saw the commerical and i thought, how the f is no gas coming out of that?! That really is high tech, then i checked the site and it said "gas powered" unlike the commercial, cool lighter but the commercial is deceptive. Deff is gas powered. No tesla tech.

When I fist saw the ad, I knew it was a lie. The whole design, is based on butane fuel delivery. They also never showed the bottom of the lighter, where the fueling port is.

I bought one. It is the biggest scam ever!!!! I told them this and they said to keep or discard the product and are giving my money back! They admitted in an email that the website isn't correct and are trying to take the advertising down!

I came here to confirm what I could see in the UA-cam ads. It obviously is not an electric lighter, you can see an actual flame in the ads. My question is, why is this on UA-cam when it’s been exposed as a scam months ago? And secondly, how do you report scam UA-cam ads? They don’t make it obvious! Once upon a time, UA-cam ads were actual UA-cam videos that you could view by clicking on the ad. Once on the ad video page, you could watch it like any other video (yes, you could back up!) and most importantly, you could post comments and report it like any other video. Of course advertisers must have complained about being treated like other UA-cam users, so they got ads that are unapproachable.
I was able to report it to YT. Hopefully more people will do the same thing!

The advertisement that I click dawn on UA-cam video swore that it was fuleless, was a military classified denied to the republic item and has only recently been released to the public, and that they are selling fast and most likely won't be any more soon.
Now: when you click on the box containing the items a pop-down box appears with some descriptions of the item. It clearly states 'gas powered'
Second: With your video alone we are already know that this lighter's been out for years.
And third: Anybody who knows what a Tesla coil is knows one would not fit in that device.
I got one from my son, it is a great Butane lighter. I didn't know it was all electric until I saw the ad.....LOL
