Alright so I'm 3 years early. Love listening to this great conductor and his handling of one of the most haunting motion picture scores by the GREAT Leonard Rosenman.

This music in my humble opinion is “ Oscar” music , it should have won an Oscar for best music score for a film in 1955.

So melancholy yet so hauntingly beautiful. One of my fave movie themes of all time...Cal Trask forever.

How come this score didn't get oscar nominated back then. Incredible work from Lenny.

A genius for sure and his inspiration still lives on , incredible , how James Dean an icon still lives on , died in 1955 but yet somehow , someway his legacy lives on, won’t see the likes of him possibly not in this lifetime. RIP Jimmy , you are dearly loved.

i am going to try and bring back stirring strong themes into the movie industry. Give me a few years, I promise I'll give the current wannabes ruling Hollywood something to work for!

All the pain , hurt , confusion you “ may” feel in Leonard Rosenman ‘s music James Dean brings to life in East of Eden the genius of this young 24yr old , don’t think , almost sure , we will never see that again , how did Dean emote such pain in the most difficult scenes of the movie will never be known but by god , Dean was a geniusRIP
