The installer says that the given amount of memory will be resized for macOS and the rest goes to Ubuntu, but when I tried to resize 250GB (which, logically goes for macOS) it goes for Ubuntu. So the explanation in the installer is incorrect and also you can't resize less than 249GB for Ubuntu

GO ASAHI & Linux open source community which is truly only independent and free community in the IT space!👏👏👍👍
Agreed with your point, thats why to bring a new linux update, Asahi team has to work day and night to crack. Apple is apple, they don't care anything except macOS.
I am happy at least Microsoft is officially confirmed windows 11 is coming to Mx chips.
@@kskroyaltech When did they confirm that?
@@kskroyaltech Thx👍 Apple should recognize in my opinion that its strength lies not just in allowing M$ to access its HW, but also allowing open source Linux community to enter its closed proprietary zone! They could do it possibly same way as Nvidia by creating proprietary drivers if they are suspicious some secret about how their HW leaks or is revealed, but as you can see this can be done by reverse engineering/cracking. So in my opinion is loosing its best ally especially when Linus is gaining on strength and popularity thx primarily to Steam and others. Apple could do more and in my opinion they are no longer innovators, which they were with Jobs! No longer those "misfits" and "rebels" or pirates (of the Silicon Valley): ua-cam.com/video/GEPhLqwKo6g/v-deo.html
Can you make a video for Kali On M1 ? I am a penetration tester it's really hard to do it on VMware fusion or UTM.
I will do it but kali cannot run bare metal at the moment.
Hi, I have a MacBook pro 2023 and it says my device is not supported yet. Is the another way to install Linux dual boot on my machine ?
Wait for Asahi fedora remix.
Do the keyboard and the mouse work?
Yes it works,
I successfully installed Asahi on my m2 MacBook Air, but when I follow your step to shut down the computer and start it up there’s no Asahi option that I can choose it only shows mac’s system
How can I do😢
This issue is happening since 20 days. Asahi is upgrading a lot. Wait for few days to try newer version. They are going to release very big update. I will make a video.
Can I install steam on the Mac with ubuntu?
is it possible to install it on an external ssd?
NOPE. It needs macOS firmware.
Would this work on m2-16inch- macbookpro ?
I don't think so. But anyway check out this link: github.com/TuringSoftware/CrystalFetch
can I run the Ubuntu on my external SSD following the same process...??
No not at all possible
@@kskroyaltech can you make some video for that, where Ubuntu can be run through an external drive?
I'm temporarily downloading this for the course "Operating System" there Ubuntu with Linux OS is needed. After some time, can I return back? Because 1 have 1 Tb and almost all space is used for just this course which makes me very angry "Resizing will free up 879.48 GB of space". Can I remove this all 879.48 installing thing later on? Is it easy to remove it fully? If yes, is it just deleting in GUI or by terminal
Did u watch the video till the end ? I also mentioned how to delete ubuntu. You must watch that part it is really helpful and that answers your question.
how can you install vscode on it? I've tried different ways, but vscode doesn't work properly
Download VSCODE ARM64 DEB and install it with DPKG
