- Tex Murphy, a down-and-out private investigator living in post-apocalyptic San Francisco. Tex is hired by a beautiful young woman named Sylvia Linsky to investigate the death of her father, Dr. Carl Linsky, a professor at the University of San Francisco. Prior to his death, Carl would not talk to his daughter about the secret project he was working on, and days later, he was seen falling off the Golden Gate Bridge. Sylvia suspects murder, but the police say it was routine suicide. To help get him started, Tex is given $10,000 and a few leads. The player is referred to the game's manual for a list of their leads.

I used to play this on my father's work computer. I remember having to put in a different disc every 5 minutes.
I could not remember the name of this game to save my life, so I scoured the interwebs for this game for what seems like eternity....... so glad I finally found it.....
The guns falling a few seconds after the guys get shot is A++++
Tesla Effect is coming out soon, and I still haven't played two of the Tex games!
I played up to Under a Killing Moon a couple of years back (when I backed the kickstarter), so I think it's time to marathon-watch these videos to catch up on memories, then finally get around to playing the last two Tex games before the new one.
I love the cheesy humour in these games!
It's 2014 - why don't I have a damn fax machine in my car yet?
because you have to wait other 19 years before that ... ;))
Four years later and no fax! 🤔
Wow, unexpected! Some cool old-school graphic adventure from buddy Gamehorder! What could be better?
I spent many happy hours playing this. So fun!
I loved this game! My first monitor wasn't in color. You couldn't finish the game if your monitor wasn't in color. I'd make it to the end & couldn't enter these codes fast enough. Then I got a color monitor & beat it.
Your voice in the style of Ultima VII Guardian is really great :))) This was the first vga 256 colors game that I ever played in my life. It was the 1989 and probably it is the real first one. This is my tribute MARCO REVEALS : THE FIRST "VGA 256 COLORS" DOS GAME
"The Fuck is an E?!" hahahahaha!
I had a good laugh at your parking job
Seems like a cool game so far. Have no fear, little digital lady, detective Ronstock is on the case.
Those terrain graphics remind me of Drakkhen, another RPG you need to LP.
Drakkhen for sure
Ever play it before? I'll tell you one thing. It's much better than Hydlide.
Drain Blut I beat drakkhen back in the day on PC and SNES
It was something to do when you got bored with playing Wolfenstein and doom on your father's work computer
In some school systems E is for Excellent. The equivalent of a A.
HOORAY :0
These games are awesome
"It's as cheap as your suit"
This is such a weird game... From the same editor, I prefer Countdown, which is a pure point and click adventure game, but with so twisted and unforgiven plot/game mechanism that it would drive you nuts. Would love to see a LP of that one (sure would come with a ton of cursing and swearing)...
Could never like this game back then. I tried. I love Blade Runner.
The year is 2033? Metro anyone? =)
"Modern" digital audio _tape_ player, lol.
Looks like a cool game, but maybe a little ambitious for the technology available at the time. The driving part looks terrible. That part looks like a game AVGN would play.
This guy really needs to stop talking...
Who the fuck you talking about?
