- An extended version of the stalker/beast's music when pursuing you in Amnesia: The Bunker. Mixed using the three (assumingly scripted) layers from the extracted files.
It took a while to understand how to extract the files from the game, I eventually got it so enjoy! - Ігри

ngl, this sounds something out of Dead by Daylight. The chase musics start off scary and intense, then when the Killers get closer the music slowly gets even more scary and intense
The Beast is pure nightmare fuel. Frictional outdid themselves here

0:00 The Monster is out of its tunnel system, roaming somewhere around the map.
0:52 The Monster is aware of your approximate location.
1:42 The Monster is aware of your exact location.
5:20 The Monster has forgotten where you are.
6:15 The Monster gets farther and farther away from you.

man I love how Mikko found a way to incorporate the terror meter sound into the monsters theme.
it also sounds like tinnitus.
Love the detail that in the final phase of the pursuit music, you can almost hear what sounds like growling/breathing
The stalker is by far the creepiest monster I’ve ever come across since the gatherers from the dark descent. Frictional has been the only studio to hold #1 at being able to scare the absolute sh*t out of me. This is the best horror game I’ve played since…well…..the dark descent lol.
(Late comment) sometimes he sneaks around while out of the walls. He will remain still and his hearing will increase. There wont be any music at all, just silence. It only happens when theres no power. I like it because its immersive. Your awareness is lessened due to how dark it is, giving the monster an advantage. I've ran right into him so many times cauee of this. 💀 theres very rare instances where he will be quiet even with the lights on.

@@LeeXoniaBro, playing on normal is tense and scary at times, let alone hard mode. Frictional outdid theirselves with the design of the stalker and its overall presence. Been many times where it was an inch close to killing me and I was booking it like no tomorrow.

The tension note sustained at the beginning of phase 2 is sooo memorable. Much less jarring than the metallic screeching from the original game!

What causes it to happen? In my experience I’d just be hiding in a room while the beast searches around and this part would randomly start and stop and he wouldn’t find me.
@@artimus4198 him investigating anything causes it i think. even if hes investigating something on the other side of the map the music will play

Oh hey its me again, and just had an even scarier moment:
Progressed quite a bit, got the arsenal code, the handle and braved the tunnels alongside *THAT ONE*
so, you know, progress builds confidence, i got even trough the stupid chapel, god that was horrible. So I grab the message from the radio and head to arsenal.
Put the code on the door, enter arsenal and start exploring:
I triggered a trip wire so the Stalker comes out roaring in phase 2, i managed to evade him by crouch walking until it retreats.
*Phew*
I decide to start blocking the holes with barrels, meanwhile It moves about in the walls (i could have sworn i heard the word "blood".. in a gurgly human voice?!)
On the last hole to cover, i evidently make too much noise, and it growls running for the hole i am near to. I start sprinting, stop *I HAVE A BULLET*-
Turn around, it crawls out of the hole *FIRE* I missed....
*ROARS*
.......
When you finish the game, try shell shock mode (the newest addition) :)
I started one to see how the stalker changed on shellshock, it growled when i moved a barrel.... NOPE @@Mythical_Dev

Enabling Unpredictable behaviour, does disable certain sound effects relating to music and stalker? Which exactly?

Phase 1 triggering while im in the supply depot just outside maintenance, because a rat triggered a trap, lights flicker, one bullet, revolver aimed at the door.

@@blackeagle041 May be late to tell you this, but you can remove locks with the Bolt-Cutters aswell. Saves you a bullet and is generally quieter.

@@Mythical_Dev shit, really? Thank you. I was thinking of addapting this game into a tabletop rpg format, and that would help alot. Although i do have a replacement theme for that occasion, so you don't have to bother with it if you don't want to.
