Hey everyone!! I hope y'all enjoy the yapping haha and all the train travel tips. Would y'all do this trip?? I have a train trip checklist here too if you want a pdf of tips to plan your own adventure: bit.ly/trainchecklist
I wouldn't do this exact trip, but I would absolutely do train trips. I prefer flying someplace and then training it, as you said. It's a combination of efficiency and fun that way for me.
@ 🤣🤣🌹IKR! Because I’m definitely planning a train trip for my 40th bday next April. But you know for me money is tight right now, so I have to prep first.
I appreciate you. I plan to take the train trip from NY to Niagara Falls because of your video. When you said Polar Express train rides I Googled it immediately, lol. I didn't know a train trip like that existed. Thanks again for making your vids.
@@nikitadm5 oh yay I’m glad you’re thinking about the Niagara Falls trip! And yesss I’ve always wanted to take any of the Polar Express rides haha so you’re welcome!!
Pacific time is truly a nightmare for me, living on the east coast. Whenever I fly over west for work I know the return trip will be brutal on my body. Tiring. Also: last year I flew to Oregon and took Amtrak from Portland to Seattle. What a lovely ride! Next time I am in NM I plan to take the local train from Albuquerque to Santa Fe. Amtrak to Montreal is also on my list. I love trains!
This is super helpful! I’m actually looking into a train trip in the Swiss Alps. I’m a little nervous about altitude sickness but definitely on my bucket list since watching you ❤ Thank you for sharing
I appreciate the breakdown. I have some familiarity with using Notion. I started reading Jayne Allen's "Black Girls Must Die Exhausted" after it was shown in one of your videos.
Congrats on your almost 8K subscriptions!!! So close to 10K !! It's been growing fast !!Wonderful video & great job as always !! I agree that a pr of slippers or flip-flops is a must !! Lol 👍👍🎉💜🥁🐉🎤🎶💕💞
Thanks so much for your tips, My family and I are planning a USA trip next year and I really would like to try train travel. Just subscribed so i can stay in tuned to your videos.
The train system is Switzerland is amazing! I want to go back so I can take a few of their specific scenic trains (even though the regular trains are also very scenic)
@@tameekamichelle5840 I mentioned the routes I loved near the end of the video! And have videos on them too. I don’t travel with a family tho so my perspective is from a solo traveler
@Sojournies I did initially, but in my head I was looking for a 30th birthday train tour title or something like that, 😬🫣😊. Thanks, and looking at it, I realized that my first video of yours was the NYC to Chicago one.
If you plan your visit to LA around the train and rapid buses (by checking the LA metro website) you can cut a lot of the transportation expenses. If you want to visit a couple of places that are far from the transportation network I suggest renting a car for 1 day to go to those specific attractions and the rest of days use public transportation. Some of the places that are easily accessible with public transportation: Universal Studios, Disneyland, LA County Museum of Art and the La Brea Tar Pits, Getty Museum, Museum of Natural History, Disney Concert Hall, Long Beach Aquarium, Santa Monica and Venice Beaches. Also the docks with the boats that take you to Catalina Island are also available through public transportation.
Thanks!! Because of you I’m taking a train from Chicago to Seattle for my 27th birthday next year. I was just trying to figure out how to plan.
@@anarchynerd838 awwww yay!! I hope you enjoy it!
You were my introduction to train travel. Roomette’s are the only way I prefer to do it. I absolutely love the idea of the privacy and alone time.
@@redbonescorpio79 oh yay! And sameeee I like them and think they’re worth saving up for
