Btw both Amazon and Bimmerplug both sourced their spoiler from China. Almost all of these carbon fiber pieces that are sold by “bmw suppliers” are all the same product
He's just smarter than you and went straight to the manufacturer. duh. everything is from China. You're just paying extra for some companies marketing and "brand".
What technique did he use to close that gap? Thanks
When I installed it I never used a heat gun so the ends were not tacky enough to firmly stick. In order to make it a flush fitment you have to use a heat gun
Just saw this video ! Was wondering what technique did your buddy use for mounting the spoiler
He put adhesive tape evenly on the spoiler and kept the plastic on the tape, he peeled some of it off and kept it poking out when installing the spoiler, so when we placed it in the right spot we use the plastic tabs and peeled them off and use a heat gun to heat up the whole area so it stayed tacky and stuck on firmly

Be honest how long did you stick for I’ve just bought mine and I’m not happy with the way it sits on .most of them sandwiches in ,this one literally just sits on top
When I first installed it, it did not fit properly. I had my buddy help and he used a heat gun and made it super tacky so it stuck really well on the trunk. I eventually did a full forged carbon conversion so I took it off

@@Hampshire87 I tried a hair dryer and it’s decent but not near as effective as the heat gun was. If you can get your hands on a heat gun, go for that option
