    THIS is what a reef SHOULD BE ! A TRUE Mixed Reef Tank ! Softies, LPS, SPS, Gorganians, inverts, etc, etc !
    I HATE seeing tanks that are completely dedicated to SPS, or softies.. This is not the way things occur in nature! DIVERSITY is the beauty of the Reef Tank !
    Well done, Dave !

    I have seen so many reef tanks over the years, but this one is by far the most incredible that I have ever seen. I have even implemented the sponge look into my own tank. Thank you so much for sharing this with the community!

    The most beautiful tank I've ever seen! Love the diversity of all the reefs and fish. And despite all the negative comments on the music, I thought it was a fun and lively song to showcase the tank! Great job!!!

    visited VividAquarium yesterday to set up a tank. Was very impressed, store was clean and organized and livestock looked great! Got great advice from Dave; Can't wait to get my tank set up. I am upgrading from a FOWLR tank. Setting up whole new tank with a refugium, LED Lighting, etc...

    Dave, this tank is absolutely gorgeous, a simply stunning masterpiece, really! Excellent mixture of SPS/LPS and soft corals. For me one of the best reef aquariums on UA-cam. I am sure you have a happy and proud customer.

    Hi Dave your videos are awesome, super informative, you are probably the only person out there who shows how to properly mound an coral and so all valuable info. with all that being set I know you have this big store with tons of equipment and gadgets, but not everyone specially who Is just starting into the hobby can get overwhelmed. would it be possible for you to please do a video series such as setting up a complete new setup of 75g, and must have equipment and moderate size buget. I personally don't want to buy a big tank because I'm so afraid what if it breaks or cracks, plus I can only devote so much time and space as I'm a busy health professionals. thanks a ton in advance

    beautiful. Are the orange long things that look like acro, acro? Or are they sponges? very nice! What do you do with the kenya tree? Does it propogate constantly in random places in the tank? Mine is a nightmare and I have 50 now but I feel bad throwing them away so I just keep moving them lol.

    one of the best Vids i have seen of a reef tank, stunning tank, stunning video ! Nice to see a tank with just T5's also ! There may be some tanks that are just as good or at the same level but i dont think i can name a tank this is actually better than this, top notch stuff ! Loved the Angler in there, i could watch those cute lil dudes for hours...

    Amazing. Had to watch several times because I kept getting stuck on the orange sponge fish! I about lost it when it moved, crazy :D What is that? I thought it was fake lol
    I just upgraded to a 75g from a 29g that I've had for three years. I'm having so much trouble with it so I'm watching all of your videos and Mr. Saltwater's to see what I can change/do.
    Thanks for this video, it's an inspiration.

    Most companies recommend a slow drip for the nitrate reactor. Why is it a steady stream? Is it because it's such a large tank? Thanks -

    Hey Dave
    Lovely vidoe again. I wanted to ask you about phytoplankton. i have all my levels for alk/cal/mag in balance. I notice my ritteri anemone bleaching a bit. I feed silversides to it. I was wondering if phyto will help me gain the color back on my anemone. which brand of phyto are you using in this clients tank ? and how much do you recommend dosing for a 220gal

    plus behind the aquarium of mine theres a 60,litre container thats filled up with ro water with a tub of seachem ph buffer in it, with a 3,litre dosing pump keeping the tank filled up as well as at the same time keeping the PH up at 84,ppm and dosses red seas coral growth vitamins in at the same time time to, but the aquarium at the moment is set up for freshwater tank using 70,Pounds of freshwater miracle mud and over 60 bunches of plants in there. your aquarium looks fab

    What do you think about lighting aquariums with sunlight?

    • @franklinmichael671
      @franklinmichael671 8 років тому

      ***** Yeah many people do it, the problem is that natural corals have many feet of water over them which diffuses the light, I want to find out how to do something similar.

    • @franklinmichael671
      @franklinmichael671 8 років тому

      Jeff R. I know, I want to imitate a natural reef, I like how they look in the wild not how they look with light that is too blue, I was asking more for information about it, I would supplement with LEDs and T5s to keep the lighting more consistent, but they don't have to look brown, they just don't shine and have those bioluminescent like colors.
