That was an incredible comeback from what looked like a rough couple of floors. He got the mantra going, he was ballsy with the elite fights, and that was a clutch move to upgrade the cards at the end there. And all with a fairy just sitting in his inventory. Spectacular run, looking forward to seeing more StS

The last turn, when he hovers over Strike and you can just hear him lean back in elation. It reminded me of the moment when the first winner of Who wants to be a Millionaire (U.S. version) saw the final question. Just a mixture of glee and excitement; it was hard not to smile along. The minute I saw the title and the reference I knew it was going to be a very based run, but congrats Ryan. If you decide to do Act 4 runs with the Watcher, or just the Dailies, I hope you keep playing StS for a while longer. It was really fun watching you progress back then and even more fun when it got brought back.
Congrats! Absolutely inspired choice to upgrade all cards in the Mind Bloom event. One thing that indirectly allowed for you, which you did not mention (IIRC) was to upgrade your Through Violences/Smites/Safeties/starting Miracle because the upgrading relic had no other cards left to hit. That made quite a bit of difference in the end!

Most of the new characters are interesting to play as. And the whole "be the bad guys" idea really does change the game up. It's much more polished than the STS mods you tried out before

Unlike other mods, it's a really well created mod from a team of devs with lots of content and well-balanced things to discover!

Now all you need is to take that Wallop when you have a Divinity deck. And btw, there are easy easy ways to be in Divinity every turn. Wheel Kick, Wallop, every Insight you can get (especially if you want to fill your deck with Prostrates). These are some of the things to look for in a Divinity deck. Card draw and efficient blocks. You don't need damage since everything does so much in Divinity already.
I know NL doesn't read the StS comments (and with good reason, honestly), but my man is playing out of his mind lately. The amount of improvement in his play to this point is massive and I really enjoy watching these runs. I always enjoyed watching him play StS (one of the only series I think I've watched almost all of) but I'm especially enjoying this revival of the series. Happy to see him play whatever he wants but just want to throw my enjoyment of the series out there into the ether, as he would say.

Defeating the heart with each character so you can look at and rank the beta art. This doesn't have to be on A20 although it may be more epic that way. 2. Going for achievements, there's some really interesting ones that could get you to see the game in a new light. 3. Going for A20 runs on the other characters again just to flex on the past haters from the OG StS series. Congrats!!

The thing that finally got me to beat A20 with watcher was knowing how hallway fights work. On the first floor the first 3 fights are easier, on the 2nd/3rd floor the first 2 are easier, so I started doing those fights instead of doing early shop/question marks.
The 5th character should be a potion master. His cards can very from creating positions, buffing potions, having 5 potion slots, Ik it'd be hard to work in and balance especially with relics but I think it'd be cool
