Вставка

- We are driving in Croatia around the seaport of Rijeka on the A7 motorway. The motorway is build with numerous tunnels and viaducts as the terrain on the inland from Rijeka is very difficult. I integrated also photos from the historic town of Rijeka in the video. Enjoy!

Another beautiful ride along on the Roads here
Hi, thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed the video 😊 Croatia is a very nice holiday country, they have a beautiful coast, many islands and great roads.
Sorry I am so late to the party. What a wonderful channel, wish I had found it before just love what you do and the information about the towns you pass and I really do enjoy the brief history lessons.
Hi, thanks a lot, glad you enjoy my work! It's never too late, the videos I uploaded will stay on the channel forever, and I am uploading new videos 2/week, on tuesdays and saturdays.
hello from France, your presentation of the Croatian highways are really really useful for people like me who plan to drive in Croatia.
Hi, glad you found my videos useful 😊
Frumos drum ,filmulet reusit.
Very nice and peaceful ride. Again, the structuring of your video is perfect. Thank you again, buddy :)
Thank you for the kind words! I am very glad you liked the video :)
I had a great time throughout the whole trip my friend! Awesome views as always:)
Thanks for the nice words :) I am glad you liked it :)
Great drive through Croatia love the rocky terrain in some places. someday I hope to do a Roadtrip through Croatia as well. Greetings from a fellow road tripper.
Hi, thanks a lot, glad you enjoyed it! Croatia is great for doing roadtrips, with a relatively good road infrastructure and great landscapes. D8 for example is definetely one of the best coastal drives in Europe.
The landscapes are beautiful! Motorway can be amazing. Never thought that was possible but it is.Thanks for this trip!
Thanks for watching and for the kind words! Indeed there are a lot of very spectacular motorways in Europe, I will try to cover the most interesting ones on the channel.
That part of Istria is fabulous looking!
Yes, the area around Rijeka is very nice. I spent 1 week on Cres Island this summer and it was wonderful.
Rijeka is my favourite city to go to for vacations. Despite being a smaller city, it is very dense, so it can feel more urban than Zagreb at times.
Just a note, this wasn't in Istria. Istria is generally considered to start west of the Učka mountain.
Croatia 🇭🇷
Great video and drive and great to listen some facts about the area.. Just one suggestion..there is huge difference in volume of the music and your speach..I always have to lower volume when music starts and increase when you start to speak. I dont know if its something on my side or related with video recording/editing. Also, what car do you drive...beside beeing red:)
Hi, thank you for your feedback. I am glad you find the videos interesting :) I will pay indeed much more attention to the volume, it seems that for this video I was speaking a little too far from the microphone. I am planning also to buy a better microphone in the future, now I am using the microphone of my headset, and the sound quality is not that great. I am driving a Skoda Rapid automatic 125 PS, I am very happy with it, drove about 110.000km until now in 3 years and had absolutely no problems, maintenance interval is also very high (every 30.000 km) and fuel consumption relatively low (about 5-5,5 l/100km).
Good milage! At one point I also had to do a lot business travel by car.. driving through the region. Its great when you love to drive... also would do cca120000km per 4 years.. changed different cars.. and then decided to settle and changed my job:) Now I somewhat miss those long drives...especially we don't travel alot now because of the pandemic. Keep doing great videos..really appreciated!!
@@franekol Thank you, I will definetely do :) I am driving mostly on touristic purposes and sometimes to work (I am living about 40km away from my office, fortunately I can make home-office during this time). The longest drive was until North Cape and back, did 11.700 km in 22 days, it was fabulous, unfortunately it was 2 years ago, and I didn't started making driving videos back then...I did also many other trips and have no video footage...but it's never too late to start :) would have to do some of these nice drives again in the future and film them :)
When were you in Rijeka? I don't seem to remember the eagle on the city tower being replaced by a flag.
The A7 was filmed in september 2020, but the photos from the city are shot during my visit in 2015. You are right, the city and the area around are very beautiful, I visited it also multiple times.
The eagle was restored in 2017, after being removed in the 40s by the yugoslav government. Before that there was a flag in its place

Hi, tried to translate with Google, hope I understood what you asked. I am using Wondershare Filmora for editing the videos.
3:15 whats name of the music?
Hi, don’t know the name as I don‘t have the video editing file anymore, but it is a song from the free library of my editing software (wondershare filmora).
@@roadsexplore ok
the city was destroyed by us and british bombing from 1943 till 1945, not by germans. over 3/4 of the city was torn down. other croatian cities like pula, zadar, senj where also bombed and heavily damaged.
Definetely Rijeka has a very interesting history. From what I read the germans left also some destructions when leaving the area in 1945 in front of the advance of the partisans. The destiny of port cities is like this, they have good opportunities for economic development, but they are the first to be destroyed in wars because of their importance.
@@roadsexplore italians where much more present in the city and its surroundings then germans. there is also oil refinery in the city (other one is in sisak). also there is lng terminal on krk which will be operative in 1 month and oil terminal with oil pipeline in krk build decades ago. currently they are building new railway zg-ri (mostly modernizing current part with new route across mountain part), modernizing refinery, building new port terminal, new connection road to this road from port. there are future plans for building a new bigger port terminal on krk, new krk bridge and new motorway (part of a7) which will bypass rijeka but this will be build in far future because there is more important projects in the country.
@@romanticniustasa9693 Yes, I know of some of these projects. I am sure the area has a nice future and will develop a lot in the following years.
