A lot of outback style hats have that sewn brim. Work hats, very tough. To me, that is a work hat, not one I would wear on the street regularly. That is a good hat.
Get yourself a Stetson made out of Beaver fur or a mix of beaver and hare. That is the best hat you could own. It’ll shed water like a duck and keep your head warm.
