@@reddudgeon7279 everyone does the same basic first nine weeks. Land nav, rifle marksmanship, grenades, obstacle courses, all standard for all MOS. I did this 10 years ago and it still feels like yesterday . I was so out of shape and was the very last one to complete the course but i learned what brotherhood was that day .
We got fully wet in cold water before we started the course and during winter aswell, we did the obstacle course 3x during BCT. 2x at the beginning and 1x at the end of the forge. For us, the sand was muddy and we had lots of cold puddles. Under the wire part we had to get on our backs and use our shoulders to go backwards to the end, he had us go through a lane that was just straight cold water and it reached past your chest, so it took forever to finish that part.
Yes, it honesty depends upon the unit and how well you all are doing as a whole. The Current atmosphere is after the initial basic training portion you should receive your phone more often on the weekends during down time.

Most of them fail as this I’d done their first week and most of them do not understand the technique and try to muscle it (when their arms are destroyed with pushups constantly
The drills made us take a shower first before we did the obstacle course. Also at the time it rained so it was all wet before we even got there. You can imagine how nasty we looked after.
Yeah I did the obstacle course originally years ago right before Gas Chamber and had our pores all open and sweaty.... but yeah I have another video where that cycle it was wet and the mud always makes it more “fun”

Lol 😂 that is so true! The heat here every summer is brutal! This is actually from August 2019
Does infantry do the same basic with scouts for the first three phases? Likewise, is this the same obstacle course for 19d?

I knew a guy who couldn't do a single pushup when we started basic he ended up in the top of our class.

shipping 6/20/2021 as 11x. Super excited. Does anyone know how different it is with COVID-19 restrictions?

Jan 22nd I go to Ft Benning😬 my mindset is to have fun and do what they tell you😁
That’s exactly what it is! Good luck 👍🏻
I ship In a few days what happens if you aren't able to do one of the obstacles ?
The rope climb is really the only obstacle people can’t do, we made them do burpees so it’s some sort of other exercise or something.
Since its 22weeks long do you get your phones more often then when it was 14 weeks or no?

Love this training...thanks for sharing salute 🙏 #goodtimeswithsoumya
Glad you enjoyed it!
Some warriors in the making!!!
We never did this in dry weather, one time immediately following the rain and one time in the rain. I remember the suck.
Funny how that works, the course is reserved way ahead of time yet still random luck.

It’s for what platoon they are in.

Oh. I thought maybe it was to show which fitness level they were at, like to know who needed to be pushed harder or something.
The low crawl is the worst.❤😂
How did you get permission to film? I'm thinking of bringing a GoPro now lol
I was Cadre there, i worked and published footage as an additional duty. Trainees are not allowed to bring cameras , especially to training events.
