The phrase "santa muerte magic" makes me cringe because she is a saint! she is death! she creates miracles and can help with magic work but she is not a type or branch of magic and you shouldnt just go to santa muerte for spells or magic she deserves devotion and love not just beggars. I do however apreciate the use of the phrase in the video because it would be very easy for practioners of magic who were are not mexican or raised with the culture to offend her or her followers by assuming things or judging mexican brujeria practices or not being able to understand that to alot of her followers she is still part of the catholic church and religion and that why she has catholic like practices that she prefers wether you're catholic or not. Im happy this video does a good job at showing how the culture must be well researched just as much as our saint.

Of course death itself is a universal construct and can be worked with any infinite number of ways without it being appropriative. But Santa Muerte is specifically Mexican.
