If anyone wants to make this thing AoE, it has good synergy with mecha set + contagious bond, or kullervo specter who can cast collective curse with 5s cooldown. Cheers!
2:52 it does indeed affect pre-existing statuses look at the screen when the arcane procs it's adding all impact, slash, cold, blast, viral goes from 2,1,2,2,3 stacks to 5,9,8,8,9 stacks
Well if you look at the damage number themselves it looks like it's only because he procced all of those same statuses. And then the orange crit only proced the slash, which is how it increased by 8 instead of the expected 7. Or at least that's what it seems to imply, which looks silly because that'd mean he'd have to have like 500% status chance, so I think this means that the arcane attaches the procs to the damage instance itself as opposed to materializing into existence after the trigger is met.
@@Xercodo34 I tested the arcane myself. It adds 6 instances of the existing status effects to the enemy. It's in the arcane description. Az is just wrong this time.

I recommend you check out Nezha’s Divine Retribution augment with Harmony and Melee Afflictions. For whatever reason it works while enemies are speared. Instant map AOE nuke.
Thanks Aznvasions... now my Dual Fangs Prime with riven that gives +191% melee damage, +107% crit damage, +32 combo counter(which with that other combo counter mod gives 62 combo - X4 damage), -8 sec combo duration that i put on Kullervo, now instead of putting 2 slash procs(that oneshot 220lvl sp corrupted bombard without any abilities) now proc 14 very, veeeeeery heavy slash procs. And it's all physical, can't even fit one elemental mod in build, and i don't need to. Before i put that arcane, that Kullervo+Fangs dominated SP disruption necramechs like nothing. Now i don't even know what i'm capable off, have to go and see. Also helped boost my all time favourite Pennant, cheers mate.
Gonna have to boot up the game to see how this works with sampotes, syam, and a few other weps i didnt see mentioned... This sounds like its ltd be great. Might even use ash for slash builds cause i think ash doubles dmg on slash procs.

Once you get tge 6 sec buff of forced slash, doing attacks that knock down or lift enemies will apply 7 slash procs instead of 1 PER HIT. So the enemy is pretty dead. And no, if you get double slash procs (both the buff and the heavy attack) you will go from 2 to 8, it does NOY give 8+ per proc unfortunately.
What is DE preparing us for? I can already nuke entire map, kill with one bullet or one swing, make myself and squad immortal. If I use full potential to farm resources, my account gets marked as exploiter and probably banned. Team of four coordinated players can trivialize any mission, no exceptions. We can't brute-force RNG aside from running boosters and lootframes but speed killing is not a problem. The most "endgame" mission literary relies on stripping away the power we accumulate. Such a weird design philosophy.

I was looking for this comment exactly. This is INSANELY strong, and it frees up so much space to do other stuff on the side(Warframe mods, pet, primary weapon, etc)... Time to think of some fun combinations 🤣.
Now imagine me using Kullervo at 294% strenght, and using Roar, it's fun as hell, i mean, i don't see the affliction actually work until they start not dying from a single attack, but it helps me scale higher

Single handed nikana have forced slash and knockdown on heavy attacks too. There is this thing i noticed for a normal attack build with tennokai. Using disciplines merit, every 4 hit you get tennokai, you heavy attack and it wil forcel procc slash+knockdown and melee affliction will reapply those slash. Pretty good for people who run normal attack builds but wanna use melee afflictions.
You know...Ghoulsaw has a 400% forced slash + knockdown on the 4th hit of its basic combo. I wonder... Slaytra might also have something interesting it can do with those improved slash effects.
Do people like or hate duplicate? Personally I find duplicate great on a few older melee weapons using some hipster builds. I managed to make a great heat based hard hitting setup with it. After all, the two status instances is pretty pretty nice if you use a weapon that is not slashed based, but otherwise has great stats.
if you mean Melee Duplicate, it worthless if your melee can deal red and orange crit or melee with less crit chance, since that arcane only trigger on yellow crit edit: plus they're a pain to farm
A stupid setup I've been screwing around with is bo incarnon, modded for blast and high status. Seeing as you hit 10 blast stacks almost instantaneously on whole crowds of enemies, you end up destroying entire rooms without much in the way of set up or synergy.
i used that arcane to make my Cassowar feel decent again. wish the polearm had 360 heavy for something that by defialt in life to be great at range it meh for 360. evin the combo that has the best 360 move is held back with no forced proc an lift an such. so unless your already over the damage needed it not worth id beside feeling smooth. worked so good back when combo count rised the weapon attack. vs now on heavy. but ya. understandable
I have a question, why do people care so much about Melee Duplicate? Why invest so much plat so you can half ass a melee build? Why not just use Wrathful Advance if you want to use primarily melee or something more supportive if you don't?
Mainly because a lot of people hate melee influence, but want something else for scaling damage that doesn’t require constant casting of strip, or buffing yourself with abilities. Pre-update, most other melee arcanes are not good enough on a general use random melee to work well, so duplicate was the “universal option” for anything that had decent crit. Ironically, post-update, the armor nerfs make it so a lot of the other melee arcanes are now also usable for dps, without relying on buffs and strips. Duplicate didn’t really change much post-update, since it still “works” as much as it did before, as it was already good enough. But now we have a lot more choices again, and sometimes, it’s just unnecessary to build for duplicate anymore. Remember that many people still prefer the old Inaros playstyle of just picking a tank, never casting abilities, and either button mashing (now auto-melee) melee, or shooting guns and doing nothing else.
Just throwing a question. For the Harmony unique mechanic, does expedite suffering effect only affects the status that the heavy attack itself procs, or any existing status effects on the enemy (from primers or the melee itself)?
Any DoT status effect that is on the enemy (yes, even electric and gas) will get detonated when you do heavy attack with harmony Also, the expedite damage instance in harmony is always colored orange but it is NOT affected by you critical damage multiplier Think of it this was, the expedite damage instance has fixed 200% crit chance, BUT its critical damage multiplier is x1.
Warfans are also great, Votive Onslaught's forward combo is pretty fast which can trigger Discipline's Merit very rapidly. Their heavy attack force both knockdowns and bleeds, which benefits Afflictions heavily.
I was comparing and testing my melee weapons again yesterday and noticed that Rending Crane, from the heavy blades, also knocks enemies down on normal attacks, and sends whole packs flying with the normal attack/block combo. It's an extremely monotonous stance and the normal attack makes my screen bounce too much but it does slightly? more damage than Tempo Royale. Though compared to most weapon types, heavy blades are still lagging behind.

I changed my GUI settings to short dmg numbers and my brain still is in adapting mode. But now I understand, why I see so many exact "2.1B" numbers after the Jade update💀 I wasn't even aware I was dmg capping lol.
would these builds also be optimal for slam? cause all i want to is slam i made one with the slam damage increase mod instead of primed pressure point since it had marginally more damage and was wondering if that was ok to do
If you wanna try this on Dual Daggers here's what I've found (on Okina Prime) All stances share the same heavy attack that swings twice for twice the procs at 14 slash procs (use same heavy build in video) Gnashing Payara neutral has lift and forced slash on second swing, however the animation feels really awkward to use so I prefer the other stance; Spinning Needle neutral has forced slash on second swing and lift on third, but the swings are much wider so I prefer it (Similar build to heavy, I just swapped corrupt charge for blood rush) However, heavy attack build is by far the strongest
Did DE FKed up the ground finishers? Im unable to perform them after the Jade update or Jade hotfix... 2:46 for me does not work at all no matter what i do. o,O Edit Now it worked for some reason in simulacrum. i did lower the mobs lvl o,O NC now work fine... no clue what is going on. Rank 4 cresendo mercy kill give only 2 combo counter insted of 5 it stated. stealth attack is also giving me only 2 combo on each.
hey not sure what I did wrong but I copied the mod at 4:00 with harmony but I cant proc the slash damage on the enemies after I hit them with heavy attack, am i missing something?
It deals and removes the slash procs in the same hit, it's the unique perk on how Harmony works. You can replace bane with Status Duration Lasting Sting btw, because it scales into the exploded DoT calculation.
This game does not have enemies that can survive a single wrathfull advance heavy strike with any scythe/nikana assuming you have this arcane and half a build with basic bronze mods, i advise you to dont bother
i enjoy warframe for its quests and events. Never cared about one shot steel path level caps. so most of time I just ignore every new arcane addition in this game. but this one seems usable and easy to use. i just hope they don't nerf it in 2 days
That blows my mind. Warframes events and quests are the weakest part of the game. Event- do something repetitive for 5 minutes until your eyes bleed. I realize that it what this game is in a nutshell but events accentuate this to new extremes Quests- go learn 20 mins of cheesy lore with 2 minutes of gameplay.

@@jeffrbake Pretty difficult to see to be honest, everything dies too quickly, I use 2 Tau Shards for casting speed and 3 Tau Violet Shards for 222 crit damages, increasing status damages, mandatory mod on harmony of course melee Elementalist.

I love this so much, it's unreal! No priming. No maintaining combo. Just swing real hard and delete enemies.

I just hit over 90 million red crit damage with melee affliction Harmony. Not broken at all. 🤪
He didn’t test it tbf it’s hard to see but heat does NOT stop affliction form procing the enemy doesn’t have to be lifted or nocked in animation

Think of it this was, the expedite damage instance has fixed 200% crit chance, BUT its critical damage multiplier is x1.

Warfans are also great, Votive Onslaught's forward combo is pretty fast which can trigger Discipline's Merit very rapidly. Their heavy attack force both knockdowns and bleeds, which benefits Afflictions heavily.
I was comparing and testing my melee weapons again yesterday and noticed that Rending Crane, from the heavy blades, also knocks enemies down on normal attacks, and sends whole packs flying with the normal attack/block combo. It's an extremely monotonous stance and the normal attack makes my screen bounce too much but it does slightly? more damage than Tempo Royale. Though compared to most weapon types, heavy blades are still lagging behind.

Volnus procing slash on slam should be a top contender for this. 10m aoe, satisfies ragdoll condition, has high dispo and slam can be spammed.
I changed my GUI settings to short dmg numbers and my brain still is in adapting mode. But now I understand, why I see so many exact "2.1B" numbers after the Jade update💀

If you wanna try this on Dual Daggers here's what I've found (on Okina Prime)
All stances share the same heavy attack that swings twice for twice the procs at 14 slash procs (use same heavy build in video)
Gnashing Payara neutral has lift and forced slash on second swing, however the animation feels really awkward to use so I prefer the other stance;
Spinning Needle neutral has forced slash on second swing and lift on third, but the swings are much wider so I prefer it (Similar build to heavy, I just swapped corrupt charge for blood rush)
However, heavy attack build is by far the strongest

Edit Now it worked for some reason in simulacrum. i did lower the mobs lvl o,O NC now work fine... no clue what is going on.
Rank 4 cresendo mercy kill give only 2 combo counter insted of 5 it stated. stealth attack is also giving me only 2 combo on each.

hey not sure what I did wrong but I copied the mod at 4:00 with harmony but I cant proc the slash damage on the enemies after I hit them with heavy attack, am i missing something?
It deals and removes the slash procs in the same hit, it's the unique perk on how Harmony works. You can replace bane with Status Duration Lasting Sting btw, because it scales into the exploded DoT calculation.
I think melee afflictions also works on Nezhas augmented ult.
It works but also doesn’t. It’s bugged somehow on how the damage transfers. Have not tried to figure it out yet.

This game does not have enemies that can survive a single wrathfull advance heavy strike with any scythe/nikana assuming you have this arcane and half a build with basic bronze mods, i advise you to dont bother

i enjoy warframe for its quests and events. Never cared about one shot steel path level caps. so most of time I just ignore every new arcane addition in this game. but this one seems usable and easy to use. i just hope they don't nerf it in 2 days
That blows my mind. Warframes events and quests are the weakest part of the game.
Event- do something repetitive for 5 minutes until your eyes bleed. I realize that it what this game is in a nutshell but events accentuate this to new extremes
Quests- go learn 20 mins of cheesy lore with 2 minutes of gameplay.

@@jeffrbake Pretty difficult to see to be honest, everything dies too quickly, I use 2 Tau Shards for casting speed and 3 Tau Violet Shards for 222 crit damages, increasing status damages, mandatory mod on harmony of course melee Elementalist.
