I'm no good at mechanics - but do share your enjoyment of the smell of derv. I like other petro-chem fuels smell too. I guess it's the pyromaniac in me. 😀👍🍀😝🔥 'Me Julie's' dad had a tractor in the barn next to his big red Massey-Ferguson that was the same colour blue as your one. There was also an old light grey tractor (years old) in the stables yard. I'm sure the grey one was an old Massey-Ferguson & blue tractor was Fordson. I know they were worth a lot of money.
My parents used to have petrol/TVO Major and then a Diesel Major (and before that a Standard Fordson I never drove)and I started driving as a kid on motor cycles and then the tractors.
I have a petrol/TVO TE20, I have never seen a Major in this configuration I will search now for a look it interests me 👍🏻I bet that was a good experience to be around all those superb tractors. I got into tractors as I couldn't afford a steam traction engine !!
Waste not want not, I reuse and recycle everything. I decommissioned a heating system and had to drain the mazout tank, mixed with diesel it does no harm at all, this tractor starts and runs perfectly, you saw the filter its as new, this fordson doesn't even blow smoke.
hi, you should attend to the air cleaner as well !
Absolutely 👍🏻
Nice .... oooh yaaahhh 👌
Hey buddy 😎👍🐰💙

That Grey tractor is probably a TE20 Ferguson.
Did you manage to stop the black smoke as the filter didn’t need changing?
Yes, I put a cleaner in the fuel, to blow through the injectors. It runs great now.
Nyyyccceee 😉.
Gud vid.

@@Al-vb6js I'm wondering if a lot of these petrol models were exported. I know three variants were made.
You should not use heating oil as it dose not lubricate well enough
