Are these earbuds a little bit smaller (in ear) than the JBL Reflect Flow? The Reflect Flow is too big for me it comes out a bit when I strain in the gym.
They are roughly the same size but maybe the Mini NC sits in my ears better because it's not as deep as the Flow. But I don't have the Flow anymore so cannot compare them head to head. So I went to one of my friend’s garage sale and I saw this JBL reflect mini nc on the table and I asked him how much it was and he said I can have it for free so I took it but he said the left earbud isn’t working so I tried it. At first the left and right earbuds both worked but then the left earbuds completely stopped working. I don’t know how to fix it. Does anyone know what the issue might be?
If I'm buying a set of earbuds, I'm really only interested in two things...how do they fit, and how do they sound? I'm really not concerned about having every feature under the sun. I'm relatively simplistic when it comes to these things. Ear buds in, hit play, adjust volume to fit, move on with my life. Yeah, there's cheaper buds on the market, but most of the reviews are pretty positive about these jbl reflects. The club pro's also have a good reputation, but from what I understand, they don't come with the little fitment wings. That could potentially be a deal breaker for me if they have a habit of loose. Might roll the dice on the reflects and hope they work out.

As part of your tests, you should do the following one: go outdoors, start walking, and call someone. The test will be successful if the person that you are calling does not hear the wind blowing into your earphones. The JBL Reflect Mini NC miserably fails this test.
Thanks for the tip. I know I should do more tests and I will be trying to add some of these to the videos at some stage. Only if I had the time to do that now…
This must be one of the most american review that i was given to listen to. How is the wireless charging without wires? You need a wired thing that is plugged into the wall that is charging your "wireless" devices. And while you hold your devices on that charging pad you are not able to use it :) But when you use a usb c charger (or any on that matter) you can just hold up your phone or other devices and keep using them. So what is more useful? :)
I haven't seen anyone solve the low volume problem, but what I did to fix it was take the tips off and remove that little piece of paper type material. I use a toothpick to do it. It completely fixes it but now you have to clean them more often so nothing goes inside the earbud.
There's this shitty "feature not a bug" where the AA/ANC turn on every time you start using the device. No matter what you do with the settings. Basically renders Reflect Mini NC unusable and undesirable for me. Currently fighting JBL about it.
The anc on these is a complete joke i didn't buy them just for the anc but expected some kind of noise canceling....there simply is no difference at all between anc beeing turned on and off
Or are mine broken maybe?...ive listened to Traffic Bus noises even static frequencies I can not hear any kind of difference at all and I really tried to hear a differenceXD

I got the same problem but now it's with both buds :(
@@dannymartinez1073 we can try to visit the jbl official website and email them about the volume issues!
I just bought them
What you think of them?
@@AndysTechTone u know that moment when u get new things realy good tho 10/10
@@lukasaus8030 yeah its like Christmas every time I get new buds 😎
@@AndysTechTone bro ur rich u lucky i bought for one of my gifts because i had bday
@@lukasaus8030 happy bday then 👍🎉
I like that shirt
i have to buy them for crossfit 👍
Bought on sale $60 a really sweet deal.
I really wish sport earbuds would stop with the touch controls. When saw them at the start of the video I figured with the little circles they'd be just like the Jabras. But no, they're just the worlds smallest touch pads. Super annoying to use with sweaty hands and chalk.
I don't mind the touch controls as long as they offer full functionality but I hear you
Best review on yt
Thanks Diego, glad you think so 😎
Has anyone used them on a plane? Do they shut off much noise onboard? I have AirPods Pro which do but keep falling out of my ears.
Nice
Hey, i have been finding new earbuds for gym and biking under my tight cap, i have problem with my sony sp800 couse well they are super bulky out of my ear and at gym they tend to slip out of my ear even tho ive tried multiple various of fins and buds, im now trying to decide with these as in price/guality and jabra elite 7 active, if i can squise the extra 100€ on them, however, i have a question, how would you compare them as fitvise? i know were ears isnt all the same, but really hard to decide... i had jbl reflectives, they did fit so good thay they creates a suction feeling inside my ear and i couldnt wear them, even tho i tries all the fincombinations.. pls help me 😅
I had the best fit with the Jabra Elite 7 Active but if you don’t like that “suction action” you might want something like the Jaybird Vista 2 or maybe the Beats Fit Pro
@@AndysTechTone jaybird vista 2 was one of my go to, but it feels allmost as bulky as sony sp800, im trying to find ones that i can allso wear under my cap when im biking, there for those jbl minis and 7 active is now my top choises. i might just have to buy both and just resell if either would not fit. nice channel btw!
Good thinking, give them a go and see which one works for your ears
how do you feel comparing fit between jbls flow and mini? do they fit with similar suction? just trying to wrap my head around the feeling of them
@@ProgRiot I don’t get any suction from either of the two JBL buds
You sound like Dracula 😎
Now that's a first... 🤣
@@AndysTechTone haha no doubt! It's just you sound a little like one of the Dracula's from a movie I remember, really cool tho :-)
Great sound great bass but they kept cutting out in the gym to a point I just pulled them out. Outside they sound awesome but in the gym they are no bueno!
I had jbl reflect flow and one earbus die after few month sound quality and fitting very disappointed and never go back for this brand
Yeah the same problem Bro, I've had two of the same product from Amazon, there is a volume issue either the left or right bud the volume suddenly becomes slow or die after a few months of used. Im so disappointed 😥
Only if I had the time to do that now…
I bought them on black Friday sale for 79€ 😁
Good stuff 👌
This must be one of the most american review that i was given to listen to.
How is the wireless charging without wires?
You need a wired thing that is plugged into the wall that is charging your "wireless" devices. And while you hold your devices on that charging pad you are not able to use it :)
But when you use a usb c charger (or any on that matter) you can just hold up your phone or other devices and keep using them.
So what is more useful? :)
Érzek egy kis magyart 😜
Do you now? 😎
I haven't seen anyone solve the low volume problem, but what I did to fix it was take the tips off and remove that little piece of paper type material. I use a toothpick to do it. It completely fixes it but now you have to clean them more often so nothing goes inside the earbud.
I got mine for 70 euros on sale:))
You got a good deal there my man 👍
There's this shitty "feature not a bug" where the AA/ANC turn on every time you start using the device. No matter what you do with the settings.
Basically renders Reflect Mini NC unusable and undesirable for me.
Currently fighting JBL about it.
pov you got them on the limited deal for only 30$ 😅
The anc on these is a complete joke i didn't buy them just for the anc but expected some kind of noise canceling....there simply is no difference at all between anc beeing turned on and off
Or are mine broken maybe?...ive listened to Traffic Bus noises even static frequencies I can not hear any kind of difference at all and I really tried to hear a differenceXD
The ANC performance is less than stellar indeed…
@@AndysTechTone can you recommend better ones? They have to be small though bc I also want to wear them inside my motorcycle helmet😅
@@demoritzz5327 1More Comfobuds Mini is small enough and has good ANC too
@@AndysTechTone thank you so much
