It would be stressful just over seeing something like that yourself unless you had a couple of managers to facilitate everything needed. Right from the trimming of the hedges to cleaning all those toilets! Dealing with staff brings a whole other dimension to life. I agree that would be too much for most people.
Many fine points to this property, not a lot of character though. I am so looking forward to the rest of this series and the GRAND REVEAL! Happy for you both!
Freaky! I’m now waiting keenly for the meet up video between Yvonne with Matt and Jesse (the 3 UA-cam horse vloggers I follow, all who happen to be in the Netherlands). I’m sure many others would love to see it too. 😊
It's actually really hard to find a property that has great facilities for the horses, enough land and a nice character house. The nice homes often have small land, and the larger properties have houses that look and feel like a barn, its hard to find anything that has a nice mix. Best of luck with your property hunt and thank you for taking us along :D 😍🏠😍
exactly. property suggestion #2 might offer the possibility of getting where they want their new property to be but it comes with huge asterisks. if you have to renovate an old place from ground on it is more personally taxing than building something from scratch. probably neither Mat nor Jesse have the time, will or knowledge to oversee extensive refurbishing work for many, many months with all the surprises waiting along the journey. maybe property suggestion #4 can be turned into the place they really want. still it would mean to change, enlarge and oversee a lot of work but maybe on a manageable scale.

it's HGTV but for horsey people :D really enjoyed this episode matt and jesse, can't wait for the next one! excited to be allowed to go on this journey with you!
Wow, wow, wow! What a huge property!!! The location, the equestrian facilities and the size of the fields are perfect. In all honesty, the private building is not very big and lacks a bit of soul, cosiness, warmth but Matt is also an excellent decorator and he could do wonders. It's a chance to have several options, your expectations are precise and legitimate and I hope you find what you're looking for. Thank you both for taking us with you. I can't wait to see the next episode. ✨✨💖✨✨
Wow, what a journey. That first taste looks fantastic. However, I am so glad that you will examine more options. I wish you two and your horses the very best and that the entire family finds their forever home.
What a huge milestone for you guys to be able to look at these amazing places for a future home. I'm so crazily excited to see where you finally land! 🥰🐴
That place may seam big but you already have all the space that you’ll need for your current horses, the visiting mares for breeding and the sales horses. Plus if Matt buys mares to raise his own foals there’s room for that. In time their personalities will manifest in the property.
I'm sure it was too much glass, little personality and charm, and a small house. So it's already a expensive property, and I think they would have been wanting to do A LOT of work done on it, to accutualy really love it. For me it would. And I have seen their houses, and the stables they really enjoy. And this is not it. 😅

@majabergmann - Personality and charm develop from the property owner over time. That is what makes a house a home. The biggest plus to this property is the land size, you can grow into it before you outgrow it.
Fun to see properties 😊. This one is well developed. In my area of the US (WA state) this would currently be a multi million property. Land-stables. 2 mill easily. 20 years ago.... It would've been far more affordable, but land has skyrocketed. As has real estate. This property is nice for someone that wants to run a horse business, renting out stables, etc. or a breeding operation, but as others have mentioned, all of that means a lot of staff. There are many farms in the United States that are 20+ acres that don't have huge operations, but still take maintenance for the land. Many of us would love to live on a 20 acre farm or less!
This is also a multi million property in The Netherlands, for sure. Couldn't find the price online but it's a small country, so land itself is expensive...
Here in the netherlands, it's a lot more expensive i think😅 land prices are absolutely insane here, i've seen pretty normal houses with a big garden go for 1 mil
Wow!!!! Absolutely stunning but it's not the one.. Matt has already mentioned going forward with reno and lifestyle videos.. the reno of your first home was gorgeous and to suit your (especially Matt's) personal taste.."Jesse.. I'm looking forward to seeing the other properties. The fields and track are beautiful but the house couldn't compare to your old home. I hope you find a home with a kitchen with an island for Jesse. And a big fireplace for the dogs. Thank you for taking us along in this journey.
So exciting! It's rather interesting that they built such a small house on such a huge plot of land, but boy... those facilities are nice! I can't wait to see the next one!
Another alternative is to buy a blank slate, 20 acres of land, you build stables, outdoor horse infrastructure and finally home ... Loved this first episode, thank you for taking us :)

Wow, this is an amazing property, really huge, what wonderful fields and land. Amazing stable facilities. But it feels to me like the stables, land and the house all lack soul. I think you both will find somewhere that has the kind of character that you love and bring to the place.

You have both achieved so much but you haven’t become cynical and miserable. You work incredibly hard. I’m 72 your energy is exhausting for me. It’s none of my business but I don’t think the house at these stables is right for you. What an amazing place for the horses but feel the living space is not on the same level. Dont get me wrong i still liked the house but seemed small in comparison 😊. Cannot wait to see the next episode 😍
I love this property. I can see it as a stud farm, with you housing and maintaining several high dollar stallions for some additional revenue.. But as the current owners have done, the "house" is for your professional live-ins. You don't have a home here. It's basically a commercial property for horses. 💕

The first property is so beautiful. It may be bigger than ur looking for, but I feel you guys would be really successful there. You guys have such a great energy and Jesse sitting in the area patio outback made him look right at home.
This place truly IS a DREAM PROPERTY !! I think it's a bit much for you two and what you want to do. I get the impression you want your own private stable, not going into boarding, right? The amount of staff it would take to keep that place looking so perfect, and the cost of that? Plus I can't even imagine the purchase price in the first place. Course, don't know your budget either so......On to the next one please!
Almost missed this one, and I certainly didn’t want to do that! Incredible property, so spacious and really great once your business has grown enough to accommodate the upkeep. Can’t help but wonder how old the owners were when they purchased this dream property. Can’t wait to see the next property, this is exciting guys. Matt, Emporio looks fabulous, excellent choice on the pics. Thanks for taking us along, hope to see you soon!🐴💕👍
I can't imagine owning a property like this . I do have an allotment garden . A horse is not allowed . But Iove to see you guys look for the perfect place .
It doesn'the have a warm comfy feeling no this isn't the one, to cold. I believe you need a place you can wake up to feeling good relaxed and just happy about life with you and and your horses ,dogs etc.,I am sure you will no when you find it you will just feel it, best wishes to you both Marsha
OK. I want you to get that. You could take some of those outdoor stables and enclose them to make studios (with glass to see the view)! ❤❤❤ Pick this one!
The horse facilities seemed really sufficient for years to come, while the house seemed underwealming. Wish you good hunting, hoping you find the perfect match for horses and humans ❤
Wow what a dream property... I can see you guys living there... a plus is all the fencing and walk ways are complicated. U can always expand the house to ur liking... great video
I love to see this property in the video! I know this facility and saw it for sale. It's nice, but it misses a lot charisma and a homely feeling for what you guys have in mind. Curious 'till the next episode and what will be choosen at the end.
The horse aspect of the property is amazing and incredible as a business platform as well . The huge downside is the lackluster house. It definitely shows the owners didn’t live here as was said.
It's hereeee!!! So excited for this mini series! This property looks great, the layout of the buildings is nice, and the LAND! omg! but for me personally the house is a bit disappointing. the way you walk straight into the kitchen doesn't feel very cosy, and the kitchen actually looks very small with the counterspace and all. I think you are right about this property leaning more towards sport stables rather than a cozy home for you. Can't wait to see the next one!
Beautiful place but I feel you two would like somewhere more intimate knowing your tastes after watching you both for a long time now. Good luck with the house hunting boys.tfs🏇
Absolutely beautiful place for a horse business.. But it doesn't feel like a home (yet). I think the current owners did an amazing job with the house for the riders and I can imagine they were very pleased with the accommodation. But it's just that.. An accommodation were people spend free time and sleep but It lacks personality and character. I can fully understand your feelings about this place.. It's massive, perfect for horses, lots of ground and the canter track is just fabulous.. But it's going to cost a lot of money to give this place soul.
Next episode comes out Monday 21st of October 😊
Can’t wait lol!! Thank you ☺️

Matt and Jesse I think it is stunning - loads of glass to clean - but lovely and you can also hold eventing events as another
So far I wish u could have this first property but with your old house☺️. So happy for u guys! Looks like u are shopping wisely too☺️🍀
It is always so enjoyable to watch your videos! Such a visual treat. I know I’ll always see “dream” scenarios I wish I could have
Enjoying what your experience was and glad you found your property
This is exciting guys, I am so looking forward to seeing the other properties, tfs x Julie 🇬🇧
I just pray that you guys find the most spectacular and perfect place for yourselves! So excited
The horse facilities seemed really sufficient for years to come, while the house seemed underwealming. Wish you good hunting, hoping you find the perfect match for horses and humans ❤
Even with that weather Matt it’s beautiful !!
Wow what a dream property... I can see you guys living there... a plus is all the fencing and walk ways are complicated. U can always expand the house to ur liking... great video
How fun that so many people are already here!!
This 1st property is very impressive. Looking forward to seeing the next choices.
Wow, so much to think about. Enjoy your journey!
I love to see this property in the video! I know this facility and saw it for sale. It's nice, but it misses a lot charisma and a homely feeling for what you guys have in mind. Curious 'till the next episode and what will be choosen at the end.
Reminds me of areas in Kentucky. So beautiful!
What ever you pick , I'm sure it will be FABULOUS for you guys , plus your horse family ... ✌️ ❤ 😊
This is amazing and I love it!!! It’s like watching Big Sky or House Hunters in the US!!! Can’t wait for episode 2!!!
The horse aspect of the property is amazing and incredible as a business platform as well .
The huge downside is the lackluster house. It definitely shows the owners didn’t live here as was said.
Congratulations 🎉🎈🎊🍾 thank you for sharing this amazing journey for us to enjoy.
So exiting to see this journey❤🎉
I've been waiting.....❤❤
It's hereeee!!! So excited for this mini series!
This property looks great, the layout of the buildings is nice, and the LAND! omg! but for me personally the house is a bit disappointing. the way you walk straight into the kitchen doesn't feel very cosy, and the kitchen actually looks very small with the counterspace and all.
I think you are right about this property leaning more towards sport stables rather than a cozy home for you. Can't wait to see the next one!
You could always renovate the house bigger, of you’ll turn the foal stable into an office space where you can have your people over ❤
They need the foal stables,, it's going to be a breeding yard .
Exciting times! Can’t wait for the next episodes.
Gorgeous property for sure! It seems a bit too “industrial” for you two. Thanks for sharing!!
OMG this is a dream location! Feels unreal we have such a place with so much land in our small country 😂
Fingers crossed and hope you guys find the perfect place.
Great site loved it. Thank you for bringing us along. Can’t wait for the next property. 😊
Beautiful place but I feel you two would like somewhere more intimate knowing your tastes after watching you both for a long time now. Good luck with the house hunting boys.tfs🏇
Here we Go !!! Another step in your horse life changes guys . Congratulations from California 🎊🎉 🐴 💫👍💫🍾🐴🍾💫❤️
Lovely property. Just remember you can always plant fast-growing trees at the property line if you want more privacy and greenery.
WOW! this place is nice!! I like that here is lots of space for the horses to graze as well.
