My friend has Borla ATAK catback setup on his '16 5.0, it's a rare chance I get to hear it, but most times I do, I'm recording it because of how loud and proud it sounds.
I have a 5.0 mustang gt 2013 I was going to go for the borla attack but was to pricy instead I got an Xpipe and some muffler eliminators I love the sound it makes on sports mode can really hear it crackle when downshifting to 2000RPMS with the xpipe and the eliminators I spent over $320 affordable price got rid of my stock exhaust wieght
Thats a win in my book man. My GT came with FRPP axel backs which are really similar to the Borla S types but was thinking of selling them and replacing with straight pipes but still on the fence. X-pipe is deff next for me first.
@@jaycamacho8179 awsome bro yea get the xpipe man sounds real nice here where i live in California i took my gt to an exhaust shop called bobs and muffler they have a mandrel bent machine took about 2and a half hour so they could make the xpipe they did an amazing job i bought the muffler eliminators from them as well i think each were $20 or $30 bucks each total i spent was ahout $326 i wanted the boral cat back system but it was over $1,000 so i saved a ton when i revv it can hear the crackles music to my ear
To find the difference between the two you really don't need to look any further than the name. An axle back will replace the factory exhaust system at the rear axle and 'back' which will essentially just replace the mufflers while leaving the rest of the system intact. A catback on the other hand will replace the entire exhaust systems after the cats and will replace the mid pipe, the over axle pipes and the mufflers. Hope this helps! -Justin
@@KJ-yn8pr exactly bro. I’m getting roush axle backs, borla over axles, bbk off-road x pipe, and kooks long tube headers on my 2014 5.0. Then slapping the 2.9L whipple on her.
Outlaws. No other choice. Neighbor had the ATAK and when I came home with the flowmasters he traded up. unmatched sound and quality. Scavenger X-pipe, 304 stainless and 3" all the way back into a 4" tip. if droning is what you fear then don't buy an aggressive exhaust!
Ryan Nicholas This isnt true. The Corsa Xtreme is very loud and has zero drone. Also the Borla Atak is also very loud with zero drone. Flowmasters are known across the car world as the exhaust that drones the most. Its lower tone that creates drone.
I had borla atak on my 13 gt with long tube headers then went to flowmaster outlaws.. best decision I ever made! Flowmaster Is much deeper overall house shaking type of note and when you have long tubes it doesn't really matter which exhaust you have.. when revving or driving above 4000rpm coyote motors will absolutely scream! No if ands or buts about it.. outlaws are the best axleback out there tbh and I feel then the atak is close second followed by extremes by corsa..
I watch these for the sake of entertainment, i have a borla atak catback on my s550. Great videos
How is it? Is it too loud? How does is sound in the car on long drives?
@@christianhayes694 it's the perfect exhaust it doesnt drone on the highway. Its enough to slightly hear but very mild until you give it some gas.
I had the atak setup on my 06 and then I got it again for my 16. Borla makes some great stuff

Nice! I run an off road X, stock over axle pipes and Bassani Street Race axle backs on my '13 GT...Love it!
Got Borlas ataks with a cat delete , neighbors really hate me but it’s a good time
But I'm sure it sounds great! 😅😂 Sorry neighbors! -Zach
I had a mbrp with a cat delete....omf it shook my chest when i stood behind it. Sounded badass
From AM i bought Pypes Pype-Bomb and there great love the sound
Pypes is great! I got the Pype Bomb Super System with MBRP 3 Inch H Pipe and it sounds great on my 2011 Mustang GT.
Great sound on the atak
I have the mbrp race series and it is very loud!!
Do you still have them?
Could just straight dump some longtubes cmon justin do it for the vine

How about the top 3 for 2011-2014 V6?
Borla nuff said!
HEHE i bought the ATAKs last year, no regrets to this day, neighbors are just jealous ;)
3 years late! Awesome
What about best 3.7 Mustang exhausts?
There is not 3.7 GT... why would they make an exhaust for that?
There is no*

V6 versión soon? GT’s get all the love. Sharing is caring!

V6s are fun but go get you a v8, you won’t regret it!

AmericanMuscle.com Gotcha! So instead of buying a whole catback I can just replace the axle back and whatever mid pipe i want? Makes sense.

I've got the Rousch on my mine as well and it's awesome!!
Yeah way louder and way better than all 3 of these roush is prob the loudest one they make that's what I have my neighbors hate it 😂
I'd like for you guys to do mine with an mbrp but I'm too far aways
I have the 2013 GT500 rear valance conversion. Does the Borla atak gt500 catback exhaust fit the 2013 mustang gt?
To answer my question, it should! Both GT and the Borla GT500 axlback has 2.75 size. I have ordered this part and will let you know how it goes.

no pipe bomb catback?

How do I make my 5.0 f150 sound like a mustang?
gadgetmantwincities you can't
Trade it in for a Mustang
Borla Atak is not a true 3 in exhaust. I had this catback on a 2011 gt and switched it out for the magnaflow competition.
i have the magnaflow competition, and looking to swap it out for something else. that fucking highway drone is killin me
No roush?? Tf my shit shakes my house 😂😂

You need to get your support people to look at their emails
I love the sound of my flowmaster outlaws. Very aggressive sound
Are your outlaws louder than the borla atak he described in the end of the video?
Only one is a "cat back" system since the other two keep the stock H-pipe.
You could argue semantics all day, but the reality is all three systems in this video are considered catbacks. -Justin
Flowmaster outlaw tho
flow master allday

You mean 2k10-2k14...
Nope. 11-14 Coyote powered S197. Fitment for 2010's isn't applicable with these systems due to the 3v in the 2010's. -Justin
