In the early 1950s, I sat cross-legged on the musty-smelling basement floor of our town library and poured through Frank L. Baum's OZ stories. I read every one of them. In 1972, I began my 35-year stint as a one-man band and used "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" to settle rowdy crowds and pack the dance floor with would-be lovers. In 1996, I produced and directed the OZ musical at the high school where I taught and turned the program into a community theater. In 2017 I downloaded the phone app Wizard of OZ - Magic Match and have played 3200+ levels. And now, as a college professor, I take a break from Covid-forced online teaching, sit at my Kawai grand and make my heart sings as my fingers skip down the Yellow Brick Road to Emerald City while that cross-legged little boy sits on the floor next to me and smiles. Thank you, Sangah.

The Wizard of Oz movie began around 1939. I've watched it every year at least once since 1953. I was born in 1952, but that was in mid-December so i skipped that year. lol

The Kawai is gorgeous & crisp during the melody trills on this very sophisticated version. I love the way Sangah interpreted the song. Listened to this 6/7 times already and it just gets more sweeter each time. Oh wow!
