you will find up to 20 cars per class class show up just for 400 to win, it's because it's not just about the money, I see it every weekend at my hometrack. 400 to win Eco mods and they'll end up having a bigger car count than the modifieds $1000 to win race.
Common sense should tell you that, but I guess it went over your head
@dalton5903 common sense is not in your vocabulary when they are racing Late Models for $600 to win, waste of time for the fans and a waste of time for the 3 that showed up, most likely they cut the purse to $600 to win with the low car count, that speaks volumes for the ethics of the promoter if he did, if you advertise say $1,500 to win, that is what you pay, cut the pay and your car counts will continue to drop.
@@gregblanton9386 wow, just wow. you can't comprehend just how wrong you are. my home track races modifieds weekly and sometimes late models for sometimes a grand but a standard outlaw modified show will be around $800, same goes for the late models.
Maybe you don't know this but these late models aren't the same late models you see running around Eldora. I feel sorry for you that that's how you think.
You will not sit here and tell me all those spectators were thinking that event was a waste of time just because the late model car count and pay. I hope you never support a dirt track in your life with the way you think. You're the kind of person to bash a track that did everything to just throw a good event for the fans.

No track knows about the low car count until the cars starting showing up. and theyre not gonna tell drivers to just load up and leave, clown. Whether it's 2 cars or 200 cars. Everyone shows up looking to race. That's common sense for you.
