Yes some type of toothbrush holder is seriously so important in college! I see so many girls not using anything on their toothbrushes and it grosses me out so much!

+Shannon O i just think it would suck to wake up in the middle of night to have to put on shoes and walk all the way down the hall in ur pajamas to use a community bathroom! and what if you get sick and are vomiting? you cant just run into your own bathroom! there's so many things i would just hate it and i can't believe it's a thing
+mellyayble yeah it can definitely be inconvenient but it's a part of the college life! Usually having private bathrooms costs more than living in a dorm with community bathrooms
In Australian universities, you wake up and go to uni by bus, car or train and you go home after it finishes 😂

I always switch bath & bodyworks with bed, bath, & beyond too!!
I have a wheelchair accessible shower/bathroom and I keep my stuff in a shower caddy next to my shower chair right on the floor of the shower stall. It keeps everything handy and I can just reach down a little bit to grab something and put it back.
I'm going to be a freshman in college this fall. So at the end of your college year can you post a video of what you learned and helpful advice for future freshman ?
i totally agree with what you mean on changing up your hair products! after i've used a shampoo/conditioner for a while my hair starts getting greasy all the time and it's so frustrating!

When you take a shower do you place your shower caddy on the shower floor or is there somewhere else to put it?
I believe in most college dorm bathrooms there is some kind of shelf/ledge in the shower where you can put the caddy on :)

Btw your hair can't get used to shampoo & conditioners look it up. It's a myth it's because people don't wash their hair correctly and buildup appears. I wash with Luke warm water for 1 min. Then quarter size of shampoo massage for 2 min. Last condition on half of hair leave in 3 min. Rinse all really good and rinse with cold water to seal cuticles.plz don't lather ur hair up into a knot with ur shampoo and conditioner. Hot water is like heat tools. Hope I helped 😊

can you make a video about how doing laundry goes down in college?? I'm starting college in the fall and I'm not exactly sure how that would all work. Like do you wait there and fold all your things there or what? Thanks!!
+patty rich How is it hard? You throw clothes in laundry tote/bag as they get dirty.... carry to laundry room... throw clothes and detergent in washer.... start washer.... wait for washer to cycle.... move clothes to dryer.... start dryer.... wait for cycle to finish.... take out and dump on folding table or back in bag.... fold or throw somewhere in your room. TA DA! You can literally do whatever you want when your clothes are washing or drying, just be back in time when it's over so that you're not being rude to people waiting for open washers or dryers or your stuff might just get dumped somewhere.
My dorm had one big laundry room in the basement with about 10 washers and dryers. We had to put money on our student ID to be able to do laundry (this will vary by school some use quarters), I never waited downstairs with my clothes. I would just set a timer and go down when it was finished and throw it in the dryer then set another timer. I never had an issue with anyone taking my stuff. However some people do wait with their stuff, totally up to you. However be warned of you leave your stuff in the dryer too long and other people are waiting they will take your stuff out and put it on top usually! I learned that when I forgot about mine once (but still nothing was taken, however it got all wrinkled lol). Hope that helps some

My hair does that too with shampoo and conditioner! I have thick curly/wavy hair and it started stripping me of my curls....that's why I change now too.

What does a community bathroom look like? Like how many girls use one bathroom? I haven't ever been to a school with dorms/ university. This maybe a weird question but I hear it a lot in collage student videos.
+Izzy Byrne It varies greatly from school to school. Basically you have a bathroom or 2 on a floor with multiple shower and toilet stalls and everyone on the floor uses it.
Personally when I had a shared bathroom, there was about 15-20 girls on my floor. In our bathroom there were 5 toilet stalls, 4-5 sinks, and 4 showers. It really wasn't as horrible as it sounds and I never ran into too many times when all 4 showers were taken and I had to wait.
Thank goodness I get to live in an apartment not a dorm! Community bathrooms would drive me insane 😂😵

Why does everyone keep saying it's not healthy to shower everyday? That's definitely not true. Everyone's body is different. If she doesn't sweat a lot and doesn't leave her room much (like if she doesn't have class everyday), she may not feel the need to take a shower everyday. I personally shower twice a day because it's what I have found to keep my body as healthy as possible.
