I am very pleased to see this video on trousers. I have always feared this journey, because I did not know how to navigate the patterns. You have instilled confidence that I am ready to purchase and attempt this look. Thanks for sharing.
Your pants looks great! I love how you showed all the different versions and the changes you made to each. Super informative. My favorite are the mustard colored ones. They look fab.
Hey Mari! Thanks for stopping by! Yes, those mustard pants for my fave!
I’ve been having the pattern for a while but I have a hard time fitting pants even rtw so I haven’t attempted them yet. Thanks for the review.
Thanks so much for explaining how to make the ties on the bottom of the mustard trousers. They are so cute and I want to try that technique.
Sure thing! Thanks for watching!
Those mustard pants are really cute!
Aren't they just fun!!! Love them!
Absolutely love the mustard pants. I've had this pattern for a while definitely gonna make them soon. Thanks for sharing
Love the ties.
Those ties?!?! OMG! So stinking cute! I love all of the trousers. I happened to see a New Look wardrobe pattern that had similar pull on trousers. I may go back and get them. You’ve inspired me.
Great job; you've been busy! Love that burgundy color.
Thank you! I have pants to wear throughout the year now! Yay! It was the one thing I needed to fill. I'm making a few more with a Butterick and another Simplicity pattern.
Thx for note re making 1-2" tummy adjustment. I assume that will be by increasing the dart? Good review and lovely pants. I'm about to make these for my 90yo mother who has tiny waist and big bum so I will adjust also.
Yes! I apologize for the late response. I didn't see this comment until today.
The slacks with the ties are nice. Great review
Thank you! Yes! that's my favorite pair!
I like it a lot, am definitely going to invest in this pattern
Great! I hope you like it!
Love all of them
Thank you
I've had this pattern in my stash for a while, but was afraid to give it a try since I've never sewn pants. Your makes are so inspirational. I love the ankle ties.
Pants can be scary, especially jeans. I reccomend something like this if you want a pair of pants but don't want to be overwhelmed. And there's room to be imperfect with this pattern, while still having a good pair of pants
CUTE!😍
all of your versions turned out so well! i should give that pattern another try. i eventually concluded that the size i had cut is too big for me but i could try sizing down. thanks for the review!
I went down to the 16 because the 18 ( the size i usually choose) was a little big. So maybe you should go down a size or two. I might try a 14 next 🤔
You videos are great. The pattern is cute I just don't think I'll want to wear pants with so much puff/room in the frontal area
I understand that! You can definitely make an adjustment to that area and remove the excess easy. I think I'm going to do that when I make the pattern again. Thanks for watching
@@crumpetsteaandsewing will that be by making darts wider or adding another dart or something completely different?
