I put an LT4 blower directly on my completely stock 17', SS, 1LE, lt1. Works amazing, 628hp and 714tq at ENGINE. Stock intake, stock cam, stock ex manifolds, stock heads, stock fuel system, stock everything. I track it, works great!

Good job explaining your build...you seem quite content. I decided not to take on the lt4 swap after picking up the SC. Did the math and didn't make sense financially so just doing a lt1 swap into my 67 Camaro. Will be ebaying the lt4. Good luck look forward to seeing more vids!

Hi, I have a 22 zl1 1le with a auto, and I feel that the 2650 with the 103 is the 1st thing to do. No dis respect!!! The pulley the porting billet lid of the stock (1.7) are almost 1/2 the cost of the Mag and the cooling bricks are still way too small. Love your car and how real you are, really GREAT info!! Thanks

I have a very similar setup but with flexfuel and meth on e50 its making 950whp. Traction has left the chat lol. Just ordered a 15 inch conversion and drag pack. 8 second street car. Great looking build buddy

Super nice car, I'll have to watch the earlier, more detailed video and hear what it all took to get it working. I really, really like those wheels, the are like a cross between Corvette ZR1 and Ferrari F50 wheels.

Thanks for the support! I did entire install myself. Had the motor built by Pro1 in Covington and it was initially tuned by Attitude Street cars then final tuned by LSXperts. Not many shops in GA that will take on this conversion and that’s the key to get it running properly

@@craig5010 can’t help to much there. The shops in GA are very picky and want to do cookie cutter builds. You can TRY LSXPERTS but just know that they most likely won’t do it and try to get you to go a different direction. Attitude Street cars will do it but they are very backed up right now
Im also doin a LT4 build im deciding on whether to go with and "FoxBody" or an WS6 TranAm.. also doing a 2002 Camaro build with im naming the "CAMMED-ARROW"🤣 Ive been having that name in mind for also 10 years now and I think it's so clever🤷🏾♂️💪🏾

Got an lt4 supercharger for 1800. Looking for just a small boost in power. Would you recommend just getting the $3300 AFM kit and that's all? Again just looking for a Lil reliable boost

Did you entirely swap the engine, or did you just install the LT4 supercharger on your SS?
Both really. It has a fully forged and built LT1. Not a actual LT4 engine but better in all aspects anyway

Just got everything dialed in and I haven’t taken It to the track since it was stock. Not sure what the 1/4 mile time would be. Also not interested in breaking parts 😅
Sick build man!! How many pounds of boost do you think Is safe with stock motor?
Also man what do you think is the best conversion kit on the market right now. I have the lt4 supercharger I have a 18 2SS .
I’ve heard 6-7lbs is safe. With crazy cooling and tuning you can get 9-10lbs. But boost isn’t the factor that breaks stuff in LT1’s, it’s the overall cylinder pressure. You can run higher boost with less timing and be safe, the car will just seem lazy. And thanks for watching

Yeah to make the conversation make sense, you have to get the lt4 blower for really cheap, otherwise you might as well get a whipple or something.

i just installed a complete engine from a zl1 into my SS same year as yours, will the transmission need a tune or some work to make it work with a zl1 engine. I have a 8 speed auto
Well I would have recommended a different converter for starters. You can make the 8 speed work but it depends on what you have done with the harness, ECU, and TCM. Basically you need a high level tuner to make it all work depending on the electronics as I mentioned. Your average local tuner won’t be able to handle all the electronics
What kind of expansion tank is that your running and where did you get it? TIA
It’s not really an expansion tank. Just the ADM Performance coolant reservoir needed to fill the coolant circuit for swaps like this. It does hold a small amount of coolant but it’s not really anything beneficial as far as lowering temps

No, that’s worse! If you get every part needed your probably $12-$15k invested because you need the entire engine and trans harness to make that work. Luckily the 1LE ECU can be flashed to a ZL1.

At stock/low boost levels yes it will be fine.

No it doesn’t, just the in tank pump
@@Stan1le I seen in a forum it supposedly had the high side. Maybe they meant in tank (low side).
@@camarochris78 definitely does not. It’s been confirmed on plenty of reliable forums and shops. Plus the two high side pumps do not look the same. I personally have had them side by side and a stock 1LE has a regular LT1 high side pump and the LT4 in tank pump.
