Hey friends, this song is called "Every Praise" by "Hezekiah Walker". The request was made by ashleytownsend12. I appreciate the request because I like the song!! I wanted to demonstrate how to play the song without a band. Most of us practice at home by ourselves and actually play at church many times just with the acoustic guitar. Therefore I wanted to show you a different way to play rhythm than just strumming away. When you incorporate the slap, strum and mutes, this creates a beat and fills up where there is a lack of instruments during praise songs. Hopefully its a blessing!
I really love this song. I am a bit rusty on my guitar as for years I hsvr concentrated on vocals. Now am in a place that i must use the guitar again. Thanks so much . Carol Mango
thank's for posting this! My pastor requested this song to be played next worship service. Just in time to learn for Sunday! Thanks again, man! Great cover by the way!
Hey Allen, Thank you for sharing this wonderful song,. ive listening to this song 2 days ago and try to find out how i should play it in guitar, and luckily, you shared it here in youtube. i will play this song on our youth event next month in Apostolic church in Norway, so very blessed that youve share this guitar cover. thank you and God bless you!
YOU REALLY HIT IT! You did it justice.... This is from a piano guy! The rhythm was tight... the lick was on... Your church's praise and worship must be great with you at the helm. BTW, don't be scared of those vocals. You got 'em. God bless.
Yeah this one is a bit difficult because it has a bunch of things going on at the same time but once you get something like this, everything else starts getting easier.
Sure. I've listened to a couple of his songs like "Freedom". I haven't heard this one yet so i will listen to it and try to post a video up as soon as possible. Thanks for the request
Allen, my church is adding this song into our playlist. I am the acoustic player and having trouble with finding a strumming pattern. Would your pattern here work on a 4/4 best at about 100bpm. I can’t seem to make it fit. Thanks for any help. Great playing!!!
Schicken8 hello. The pattern would work for that tempo. You can also try strumming eight notes, downstrokes. And then mix the downstrokes with some notes being palm muted and then some being the full chord.
Hey bud I'm just learning to play the electric guitar. I'm transitioning from the piano. Do you think you could do a basic tutorial for this song without the slaps lol to make it a little easier for me
Hey, Allen I know it's been a while that you posted this. And I am just now seeing it! But can you tell me the order the chords go in when you play. Please get back to me a.s.a.p. I'm playing this song at my grandparents church coming up in a few months.
It's a power chord for A. Index on 6th fret/6th string, ring on 8th fret/5th string, pinky on 8th fret/4th string, and everything else is muted. Hopefully that helps!

+Allen Soto thank you so much!
James Cadungog no problem!
can you cover casey j have your way?
What cords do you use
Does anybody know
So haaaaard
Allen first of all thanks but the electric guitar is harder than this so
Volume is too slow
Poor sound quality, but you did best God bless you
I’ll use an easier version than this
Talking too much
No proper vocal
Better if less talk
too slow and not interesting
