- Syd Hynes dedicated his entire career to Leeds Rugby League having signed for his home town club when he was 21. He would go on to captain Leeds and become the club's first ever player coach in the 1970s, winning 14 of the 20 Finals he featured in as a player and a coach with the Loiners. He was inducted into the Leeds Rugby League Hall of Fame in 2019.
Just one of many legends to come from the Headingley production line....
