Earth 2, Planet IX, Crowd 1... there seems to be no end to these virtual real estate planetary scams. At some point, the people buying into it need to be labelled for what they are.

Imagine if this actually worked as advertised, and these pixels of digital copies all actually rocketed up in value, then we would start buying pixels of copies of the copies, and the value of the pixels would increase exponentially, until the entire world economy was tied up in NFTs granting ownership of pixels with no intrinsic value or purpose. At this point I imagine that as a species we would abandon the idea of manufacturing goods or offering services, why bother when you can just buy and sell pixels? We would then sit around and starve while marvelling at all our virtual wealth, allowing some less gullible species to take our place at the top of the stupidity chain.

And if and when these 'Earth sellers' attempt to map those areas, all I can say to them is; Good luck. Because they'll be in more trouble than they can possibly imagine.

Well, for starters on any satellite imaged map, like google maps, they are required by law to be blurred to a point of anything being indistinguishable. Or they are cut from the map in their entirety, leaving a hole that is just white, or whatever the color of the page background is. The areas may be imaged, but releasing that image to the public is illegal. Doing so could be brought to the courts for 'Espionage' or 'High Treason'.

The individual girl's character can be somewhat tropey so long as you don't rely on it, for example a blonde twintailed girl because the hairstyle is part of some martial tradition, and every other character from the same has the hairstyle, except for the rebel edgy ones of course. If there is a somewhat understandable reason for some to be a particular way, then people will accept it even if it doesn't make actual sense, especially if they are visually appealing because of it.
It also triggers the collector response, which people rarely need any reason to indulge, just having a vague lore based reason for them to exist is enough for most people.
Then you would have to produce a service with some kind of redeeming value.

It's really weird because passed generations that did this, kind of required you claimed the land you are selling by physically having to go there and stake out our claim. Which essentially meant you had to build something akin to a fence around your stated claim.
Pretty sure the Taj Mahal, specifically, isn't under copyright, but that's just because it was finished in 1653. Anything _new_ (the second World Trade Center, that big pyramid in front of the Louvre, anything Picasso made) is going to have copyright problems.

The money will have disappeared in a flash of crypto, possibly their bitcoin might "get stolen by hackers", before any lawsuit gets serious. With the right combination of LLCs, "oops we didn't know", "oh no, we got hacked", etc; they are laughing all the way to their luxury Caribbean resort while the lawsuits are left with a worthless husk of a company.
