I was in Sevilla that night and I can relate it was fucking horrible. Sound in there was not only bad sounding but painful to the ears at some points, I felt bad seeing you there with such shit equipment, it was clearly hard for you as you mentioned, I hope at least the good vive of Spanish crowd and hypefam was worth a little to it. Can't wait to see you again mate! ☝🏻❤
@@smarthomede1843tbh this is the first time I have experienced such bad thing in terms of clubs/pubs/festivals. I have attended to medusa, elrow, pelícano, ultra beach and a lot of clubs and they all sound great, but this was a mess bro... Hope they listen.
@@Framo94 I mean, if you look close you can see the amplifiers behind James, it was always on red not even moving! But not just for him, also for the DJs before him was like that. The layout of the speakers was horrible, instead of having the PA (main monitors for the audience) in front, they were behind, they also just had 2 shitty speakers on the side pointing like at 45° angle to the DJ as "booth monitors", I can't imagine how painful has to be DJing there if you don't have protection ..
I was at the Madrid event just to see you James. I have never gone out to large parties. You blew up the stage, thank you very much for everything, you are a great inspiration for me
That's class... the sound system is shit and openly admitted that you should have left... BUT stayed for the crowd! That's why your fans or people alike appreciate your efforts and dedication to at least give them something.
Big ups to Wallace and Ben both. In the face of adversity, you both knocked it out of the park on filming even without the cameras and audio equipment. Big ups to Rashun and James as well, all of you are top tier humans and I'm grateful I've gotten to meet all of you.
I spent a weekend binge-watching your series in between a lineup of DJ shows in Germany. The excitement and energy you bring inspired me to push my performance to the next level. I've started using three or even four channels and have incorporated elements of your mixing style into my house sets. It’s an intense workout! How do you sustain that level of energy for a 3+ hour set? It's like an Olympic-level feat of endurance. I found myself tangled in my headphones more than once-what in-ear headphones do you use? Can they effectively cancel out booth noise and let you focus solely on the cued channel? Thank you for the inspiration and for demonstrating what true DJing is all about.
From what I understand, to last so long he consumes a lot of energy drinks and sparkling wines, And he uses some Sennheiser ie 600 headphones as headphones.
Honestly, even though the first show was terrible, this was a great episode. Genuinely laughed out loud several times. You guys made it work with all of your equipment taken away, and delivered content lmao. Legends!
James, I loved the boot leg ass iPhone recording. It reminded me of the good ole days and also made you guys chillin together hit way harder. Awesome content keep it goin
I am not surprised why Spanish authorities got your camera gear. But the rotating DJ booth looked fun, so 10 points for that. It makes me to feel that legendary set from DJ Tiesto in Concert Gelredome in 2003. Technically wasnt rotating, but gave that feeling.
Big Up Wallace for sticking around to get the gear back. You a Carnet for your gear then you won't get any issues at customs going forward. Hit Me up for some advice if you need it
Jh good vibes. Debreif fun. All the jh crew all cool. Respect for all the music work and lifestyle. All good. Im a fan. All good men. Jh great. Good vibes.
@@Duckfit Probably customs rule's about importing goods, they were unlucky and got pulled into a customs check, and they found all this equipment, it would be the same bringing stuff like this to places like U.S.A. etc, there are probably declaration forms that need to be filled in for certain stuff to prove its being used for work or going to be returned to the U.K. etc. and these guys did not know and where unlucky. was way easer before with freedom of movement.
4:16 I'm the owner of a club... and I think it's a shame that the owner doesn't have some powerful pairs of boxes in reserve! If this happens in my club, I would have some RCFs to connect directly to the mixer, and the night would go on perfectly
if i was told to do lighting on that while touring, id advice against going just because, how will an event or venue care for their artists while they cant even care for their equipment
Here's a trick from someone who travels a lot with pelli cases. Just take the ones without wheels and stick them in a normal suitcase to avoid attracting attention. Otherwise get yourself a Carnet de Passage once you are over 10'000 euros of gear. Cheers
It is very normal that you guys in the middle of the set experienced a less good sound because of the speaker at front and back cancelling each other out in the middle.
It's now proven that in the James Hype videos, it's not about the video quality, but solely about the content. You nailed it guys 🔥
It also goes to show how good iPhones are now. You could honestly just do all the videos with an iPhone and it’s not even much worse.
Wallace - the absolute glue to this team. A man of many many talents 🎉
Good on you Wallace
Can dj as well 💯

big props to ur whole team james for making this video and the shows work. ❤
Real dj plays everywhere, the people loved it i see in the remarks. The public will never forget this set.
James you gotta give us a wardrobe review
the fact that the floor at the hotel is making more noise than the speaker at the club is amazing...
You are very good and amazing. I hope to see you live one day. Thanks for all the great and entertaining content that you deliver consistently.
