This was a pretty cool stage theme, being techno and all (back when that was a thing) I like how the robotic background voice says "J-J-Jackrabbit" it makes it sound pretty bad-ass
Oh, I get it.... "Technoir" "Tech-Noir" Noir Definition: A genre of crime film or fiction characterized by cynicism, fatalism, and moral ambiguity. When you're above the rooftops, what do you see? Shady cities in the background. Combined that with Tech, and you've got a technologically advanced crime city! Truly *EPIC* XD
I kick my head to the ground for not appreciating this back in the day! Sure the gameplay wasn't as good as Sonic, but even Sonic didn't have this much attitude!
It was/is a solid game, but the pulled in FOV combined with the extremely stop-and-go gameplay meant it could be very difficult and frustrating with memorization of enemy placement becoming a necessity. You could rarely really pick up speed because you'd run into another enemy/obstacle soon enough which was exacerbated by not seeing said obstacles until you were right on top them.
Maybe Jazz Jackrabbit has attitude, but he's really good because he's also a pretty chill dude. I'd rather smoke with Jazz than with Sonic, and I don't mean nicotine.
Stuff coming out of nowhere was actually a pretty common issue with this game. If it weren't for that, Jazz Jackrabbit would be 100% bliss. Personally I think it's at 87% as this reality is right now.
This music makes me picture Baloo from the Jungle Book (in a hawaiian shirt) at a rave, constantly moving through all the people searching for his friend. His friend Mowgli was taken here earlier in the night and Baloo had a bad feeling. He pushes aside some transexual dancers and sees Mowgli on the floor with a needle in his arm. He's drueling and his eyes are rolling. His arm twitches and Baloo falls to his knees and roars into the heavens.
Terminator's favorite video game song
In the first terminator there's a disco that's called Technoir

loved it best when you pick up the powerup in the game and it says "rabbit-fire" instead of "rapid-fire"
@@peterzerfass4609 really? I didn't notice that
I thought it said "get ready" ^^U
The name of the planet has to be a reference to the club Sara Conner hides out at in the first terminator movie
Bingo!
Oh, I get it....

Krazi ShadowBear Ok this is epic
Technoir is the name of the nightclub from the first Terminator movie. I think that’s what they were going for. It’s a pop culture reference
Epic because… Epic Games
J-J- Jackrabbit
Yes, this is song is basically summed up by the wording on the water tower. "EPIC"
This is my ringtone.

Not to mention, such an awesome music!
I didn't have the chance to enjoy this when I was a child, but I'm able to do it now with the help of DosBox and abandonware websites!

On this planet you gotta watch out for those spiked balls, those can come out of nowhere!

I HATE those flying spike balls!
+menslady125 Not as bad as the turtles in tanks! I died quite a few times to those guys!
Ooooouch!
Technoir translates to black technology
RulueNFMM's Best Stage Soundtrack ever!
I'm still trying to figure out, why the high tech planet looks like a bloody piece of meat.
Even though this came out in 90s it sounds more like some 80s techno.

I need to reevaluate my life.
Dude, I seriously don't know how you keep coming up with stories about Baloo and Mowgli based on JJR music..
