Not paying anyone to do my deals, not so difficult, just say no to everything and always walk away😅. It is fun to see their face and get mad every time you reject their offer.
The only thing I want to do at the dealership is the test drive and the service appointments. I will use Tomi at Delivrd. I don't have the ability to find out the factory to dealer cash or where a dealer really can sell a car at.
car brokers have been around forever, back in 70-80s I remember hearing about them and met a few who used them agree, would rather do it myself and can use those skills in so many different areas, Life is one big negotiation, lol.....I used to suck at negotiating which is why I learned how to do it properly..... the thing you hate or makes you uncomfortable is probably the thing you should learn..... Life is one big negotiation after another in just about everything
I'm another weirdo that enjoys the process and all the games and BS but I totally get why someone wouldn't. It's not just a matter of being a good negotiator, it's having the PATIENCE to find a dealer that wants to deal and FLEXIBILITY to settle on something that might not be 100% of what you started out looking for. Maybe it's just a different color. Maybe it doesn't have the black plastic badging package for $1000 more. Its really the personal psychological challenge that I like I guess.
My method: Find a car I am interested in on a dealership lot. Contact my personal bank and ask what the vehicle is worth and what they will approve a loan amount for. Now go talk with the dealership about numbers. If the dealership's price is much higher than what your bank tells you then the dealerships ripping you off, move along go to a different dealership eventually you'll find someplace that's fair. Yes Kevin the homework guy is pretty awesome. But then you're also getting into paying a pretty penny for that service and they're telling you not to be picky about your vehicle, well if you're spending that kind of money yes I think you could be picky about your vehicle imo.
Me and my wife just got back from the dealership. And I actually ordered a 2025 Jeep Gladiator willys not being the best time for deals we ended up getting 6,000 of MSRP . There was one on the lot but lacked some of the features that we wanted . First time ordering one will be ready in a couple months will hopefully be warmer by then 🥶🥶 . Also got the Fathom blue paint color
Your absolutely right. A few people have told me I should start doing that for a fee for people. I am , by NO means am expert. Yes, I did save Thousands, but I also invested ALOT of time every day and night researching how to do it. I thought about charging $500 to save someone Thousands off of their new vehicle. I do think I could do it , but do I really want to...? That's the problem I'm having. I have a full time job as a dog groomer for 26 years , but I am looking to change it up...I don't know...I might do it. There are alot of people that have no idea u can even save money! Lol 😂
thats all it is.....time, research, tons of phone calls, emails.....it is alot of work but the lessons learned and money saved is worth it....each transaction is less work because of skills gained on previous deals
I've got a cousin who's been in the business of doing business with no business.......for the last 50 years !😬😬😬 And he still hires a lawn service.... while his Mrs. works full time .......and has a second job working 7/11 at night...........🙃
How to get a good truck deal: 1. Set your budget and don’t go over. 2. Don’t buy a truck that’s over your budget. 3. Walk away if you’re not getting the deal that fits your budget. YOU hold the power. Too many people are seduced by the vehicle and end up paying more than they can truly afford.
Nope. Study on what you need to know and how to approach. Walk in ready and own the conversation. Paying someone to do your negotiating is just lazy and I bet you can get a better deal yourself. Its just a matter of how much effort you are willing to give.
I love my new 2024 Laramie btw. Also all your videos are great quality what camera do you use? 🔥
Homework guy is awesome too. He lives in North Dakota. He wife assist and they do superb work. 😊
Thats the Kevin I'm referring to in the video

Always well presented Jason . I personally can’t stand the negotiating/ haggling nonsense .

Hi from MI. There is also Tomi at Delivrd.
Perfect. Thanks
I won't ever use a buying service. Not knocking anyone who does, but as you said, I guarantee I can do better than any buying service.
