"...the greatest rapper of all time died on March 9th!" C'mon bro! You don't EVER come back from a line like that after calling yourself the GOAT! This man belittled his own skills to make that point to LL. When would LL ever make such a sacrifice to prove a point? Never, too much ego. He should've humbled himself the same way Jay did after Nas hit him with that Ether. When Jay said he didn't expect Nas to come back like THAT, that's the moment he grew up to me. LL never did. The "Like Common and Cube I see the bitch in you" was a reference to Common and Ice Cube's beef at the time. Common and Ice Cube had a beef but they have since squashed it and are cool with each other.

In Common's song I Used to Love H.E.R, which was a metaphor for hip-hop, he talks about how his love interest in the beginning was innocent, conscious, and afrocentric but when she moved to the West she became loose and turned into a "gangsta bitch" referencing how when gangsta rap in the West Coast became mainstream every body wanted to be gangsta. Ice Cube took offense and made a diss song along his group, Westside Connection, at Common responded with a diss at Westside Connection (Ice Cube, WC, Mac 10) called "The Bitch In U".
@@Lin-rb2yx To this day I can’t decide which diss track was better. They both potent as fuck. I think the reason why LL destroyed Canibus career tho is because he had more leverage as an established star in hip-hop. He had the stroke to pull strings and black ball Canibus.

ALL of 2ND Round Knockout is a quotable! Pride is a funny thing for some. 🙏🏽
@@nashobalusa3288 You typed alot bruh and yet it didn't mean anything. I stand by what I said.
Now you gotta do LL’s response, “ The Ripper Strikes Back”, 🔥
"The Bitch in You" was a reply diss track from Common to Ice Cube
FINALLY !!...🐐
LL did respond. Check all the diss tracks and judge for yourself. This was hard. The hardest anyone ever came at LL, up to this point. Also check out LL's diss track to Ice T and cool moe dee and MC Hammer. LL did at least 4-5 tracks in response.
EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU! Let me tell you : "YYYYOOOOUUUUUUUU HAVE BEEN CONDITIONED by some ""modern"" bullish, to GO THERE with that line. NNNNNNNOOOOOOOBBBOOODDY, who is older than 20-25 THINKS that about THAT line. Only YOU react to this line in such a way....WHAT SHOULD THAT TELL you? Note this song came out more than 20 years ago.
Oh, this is a classic battle... But all this shit is long past now, squashed in 2014. Even LL gave a shout out to Canibus in his speech when he was inducted into the hall of fame.
AIG,
"Bronx War Stories"

🔥
from the,
"Wu Tang KillaBees The Swarm"
album
LL Cool J's response to this is called "Ripper Strikes Back".
Also, Common had a diss to Ice Cube called "Bitch in You"
And oh yeah, I think you missed the line where he said “Like Common and Cube, I see the bitch in you”. He’s referring to the diss track Common did on Cube that we were talking about when you reacted to ‘I Used to Love H.E.R.’. I’m sure you’ll react to that diss soon.
Wyclef killed it when he made this beat! Listen to that choir, it's still one of my top beats!
4:06 what did i just hear 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Commons song against Cube was I see the Bitch in you. He was basically using the same diss against LL
The "Like Common and Cube I see the bitch in you" was a reference to Common and Ice Cube's beef at the time. Common and Ice Cube had a beef but they have since squashed it and are cool with each other.
You gotta do *The Ripper Strkes Back* LL COOL J 🙏🏾🔥🇯🇲
Illest Canibus verse is his on Beasts from the East. Imo.
I put this track above hit em up in greatest diss tracks of all time
This one of the best diss tracks ever & I'm grew up on L🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This man is top 5 lyrically ever imo
When mike Tyson calls you the champ, you know the height you stand at.
You gotta listen to "The Ripper Strikes Back" next. That's LL Cool J's response to this
Also listen to RASTA IMPOSTA
🙏🏾. Keep reacting to this album. It was good to start with 2nd round k.o. after 4321 but this album has bangers. Ya that was a PAUSE moment bout eating aZz.
Now This Joint From Canibus Brought The Lyrical Rawness.....PREIOD!!
This song is top tier. His debut song & went straight for the 🐐. Nobody else in rap has bigger balls than Canibus. Dude is the man. Check out Buckingham Palace. That track is dope AF.💎🤙
Hip Hop is always Best win Rappers Battle and keep it on wax. War of the Words…it’s incredible to see artists go at it like this. Pure entertainment 💯
I remember when I first heard this, had me spazin🔥🔥🔥
Now react to LL Cool J’s “Jack The Ripper Strikes Back”.
I AGREE, THE RIPP1ER STRIKES BACK IS THE SONG THAT ENDED CANIBUS CAREER, AND LL TOLD HIM THAT HE WAS IN THE SONG
@@bigalbigs1 word
@@RAA10382 I WOULDNT DISPUTE THAT, BUT YOU RIGHT THEY BOTH STRONG DISS SONGS, BUT I BELIEVE IT WAS LL's ENERGY AND DELIVERY O1N HIS SONGS IS RIDICULOUS, KOOL MOE DEE EVEN SAID HIS SELF LL COULD SAY ANYTHING OUT HIS MOUTH BUT THE ENERGY HE PUTS OUT IS UNMATCHED
The Bitch In You by Common Sense. (Ice Cube Diss)
Diss tracks to check(if you haven't already): "the bitch in you" - Common, "linda trip" - El-P of run the jewels, "no vaseline" - Ice Cube, "Shut the eff up hoe" - MC Lyte, "hit em up" - 2pac, "paper plate" - GZA, "ether" - Nas
The response from LL was ~ Ripper Strikes Back
Mike Tyson is in the intro and was actually in the music video as well for this
CANIBUS HAS ALWAYS BEEN LYRICALLY NICE!!!! NOT TOO EMCEES CAN TOUCH HIM LYRICALLY. HE’S IN MY TOP TEN LIST NO MATTER WHAT..
I also thought that, until I heard Krino.
You have to do the LL come back . The ripper strikes back
Canibus- Dead by design
Canibus- Only slaves dream
Even back in the day he shoulda changed that bar
Canibus won hands down...one song one kill....I love LL but he did bus dirty then tried to smooth it over and bus wasn't having it. All LL did in response was resay what canibus said already....this was one he should have ignored
LL always came back. Always. Check out his dis to Kool Moe Dee, "Jack the Ripper."
On 4,3,2,1 joint they were throwing disses at each other on the same record. It's what started the beef.
Beasts From the East - Lost Boyz featuring Canibus, A+ and Redman.
me in 2000's "YEAH HE'D EAT YOU ALIVE!" me now: wait... that dont sound right 😂
