Scenery: Stunning lakes and view from pass
Kearsarge Pass from Onion Valley is a perfect day hike. At under 10 miles round trip and beautiful alpine lakes this is an ideal day hike in the Eastern Sierra. Late May still had snow going up to the pass. This pass provides great views down into Kings Canyon National Park, and Kearsarge and Bullfrog Lakes. Highly recommended!

Wow...that must have been amazing! We nearly crossed paths as we were at Onion Valley on Sunday.
