Maybe I'm crazy, but i don't like purses fhat have the maker's name written all over it. Initials or otherwise. My bag has to be uber functional first and foremost. I despise carrying anything on one shoulder. And i hate a crossbody. Nothing beats a good kipling backpack. Hands free...all the way
I guess it's the 80s city girl in me. A backpack for a pocketbook just isn't secure enough for me. I feel like if I'm in a bump and excuse me crowd, my stuff could get taken, and I wouldn't even know.
I love crossbody handbags. It’s a rarity for me to place it on my shoulder, it doesn’t feel secure. I wear mine across my body. Additionally, I don’t have a problem with designer bags with their initials on them. I steer clear of those with their names in big bold letters.
