I was fortunate enough to see Toby in concert many times. One concert was outside in the pouring rain. Toby stood in the rain and sang his hits. He said that was the least he could for his fans. He was one of a kind
He was a good man...we got tickets and backstage passes to go see him, but my daughter got sick and was hospitalized at the children's hospital 2 weeks before the concert...we found out that she had cancer...we gave one of the nurses that was a huge fan our tickets for taking such great care of my daughter...when she met him, she told him where she got the tickets he actually showed up at the hospital with a stuffed animal for my daughter and autographed stuff for both of us and gave us $1000 to get whatever we wanted... truly lost an amazing man that had a heart bigger than his talent...💔💔💔

Imagine if you’d never had the backstage passes & the nurse never told him your daughter’s story-he never would have known the good he did! As another RN who now takes care of children & a fellow Christian & Toby fan, I pray your daughter is doing much better now! She (and you!) will always have those wonderful memories of how special you were to him that he took the time to do that. Not many would. I wish I had been able to go see one of his concerts! Hold on a minute here. In my experiences/ generation (1814)😂 till present, 99.999% of the time when a man steps in to help a lady out. And giving said abuser a much needed lesson , about not putting his hands on a lady. Said lady is busy hitting her rescuer in the back of the head with a bottle or something else her purse, or a shoe. And if they don't the next time you see her they're back together anyway

I worked at a radio station and I was able to meet Toby Keith…he was so genuine and kind. He just made me feel like we had been friends for a long time. When he came back to town for another concert, he goes “I remember you! How have you been?” 😊 I will always treasure those memories of him!
Toby saved me after my husband died...his music is fun and sweet and all things good. I saw him 5x. I flew to Vegas for my 50th birthday and had front row seats at Mandaly Bay. The man never disappointed.

Walked up to the friend who insisted I go and he was talking to my now husband. He was a weight lifter and he looked good! Haha! He started flirting but at that point I hated men. I told him to knock it off and he told me to make him. Wrong thing to say!! I grabbed his beer, yanked his cap off his head and poured that ice cold beer on his head! He never said a word. Two weeks later he called and asked me out. We’ve been together 35 years.
